Quality Suites

Not very good. Unfortunately the elevator and the ice machine were out of order. Our room was clean, but when we pulled out the couch and dropped a charger behind nightstand, it was gross. There were not enough pillows or blankets for six of us. Front desk was kind when we called to ask for more but were unable to find or provide any.

we arrived at 4pm they had only 1 (one) person on desk to check us and others in at check-in time they should have more than on person at the front desk- she indicated that our room was at the back and that we should drive around to the back of the building where our room was. we parked at the back went up 6 steps with luggage to get into the building we then had to go downstairs the get to the first floor where our room was located at the front of the building- we had to walk to the front - on the way we had to ask laundry staff where our room was located - weird set up. breakfast was okay not the healthiest selection available - coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bread for toast, dry cereal, oatmeal in packages, yogurt, apples and bananas I was only able to eat the eggs and yogurt - the yogurt was full of sugar on the second day we went to get breakfast the eggs were gone and did not get refilled before breakfast was over and we had to leave to get to our meeting very disappointing - no options for special diets

Some of the staff was not helpful. Could not answer questions. Thankful there was someone else working that helped and answered. Our room keys had to be loaded every day. Very inconvenient.

Extremely disappointed with our entire stay at this hotel. The building itself and room cleanliness were awful (elevator out of service, stains all over the floors in our room, bathtub had brown staining). We had a family of 6 stay and only had 5 pillows. When asked for additional pillows and blankets they said no extra pillows permitted and they gave us mattress covers as blankets(?). Phone did not work to contact front desk and there was no temperature control in our room. We froze both nights with ac blasting non-stop, turning on loudly and regularly. Small items falling off easily as they were barely attached (door handle stop, toilet roll holder). Staff (except 1 front desk) were dismissive and rude and acted annoyed anytime we spoke to them. Our keys stopped working every day and had to be reset. Overall, terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Spend a bit more and stay a decent hotel.

Very good stay - the only thing: the elevators didn't work, but they had someone to carry up my suitcase. Breakfast was outstanding and so was the reception.

The central heating was not working and the front desk had to send a portable heater to my room. They have shampoo and conditioner containers mounted in the shower and they were empty

In town for a hockey tournament. Staff were friendly and helpful. While some rooms were completely refreshed and looked great, ours was only mostly refreshed. New beds, wallpaper, headboards and shower inserts but thermostat from the 80s that heated but didn’t cool, rusted air vent for the heater and bathroom fixtures that were not properly attached.

It was clean and had a lot of amenities. There was a coffee maker, microwave, fridge in the kitchen area. Location was very convenient and parking was available. Although the decor was dated, the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall good experience at Quality Suites Whitby… room was close to front desk entrance, so it was a bit noisy with guests coming in & out of hotel. Great continental breakfast & friendly front desk staff. Dec 2023
