Such a lovely place to stay, felt so welcome and looked after from the moment I arrived. Will definately come and stay again.

What a nice surprise. We were warmly greeted by Steve and Charmaine and shown to our lovely rooms. Every comfort was in the spacious rooms. Huge bed, super linen. Couch, table space and patio with a view across a big beautiful garden. The breakfast was substantial with fresh fruit, nicely cooked english breakfast, just-baked muffins and good coffee. My only complaint was that we had to travel onward and weren't able to stay longer. We will definietely be back.

Favorite place on the Garden Route! This place is a hidden gem. I stayed in a garden cottage with the most beautiful view. The owners, Steve and Charmaine, are incredibly kind and always willing to help. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I’m vegan, but this was no problem at all for Charmaine – I truly enjoyed it! The nature is breathtaking. What an oasis of peace... The only sound was the birds singing. Oh, and the beds – I slept wonderfully! The WiFi is very strong at the cottage, which allowed me to work online without any issues. I fell a little bit in love with this place... I will definitely be back! 10/10!

Our group of five friends had to make an emergency booking online late on Saturday afternoon (22 Feb), because of an unfortunate experience elsewhere. Hildesheim came to the rescue! Steve was ready for us within half an hour and on arrival he was very friendly and helpful. He even arranged for a reduced price when we realised that we needed one unit less than booked for the night. The surroundings and garden are beautiful, the units are spacious and well equipped. We did not have breakfast, but enjoyed an early morning dip in the nice pool. It was loadshedding shortly after our arrival, but due to the solar system, it had no effect on us - we could heat our meal, make coffee and enjoy a hot shower. We recomnend Hildesheim without hesitance!

The accomodation and host was great. Received a box of chocolates and bottle of champagne for the valentine weekend. The spa bath was nice and relaxing. Great views of mountains and the swim in the pool was awesome. Conveniently located to go get breakfast and braai facilities available. Good covered parking facilities too. Really nice place.

This place was breathtaking. Steve and Charmaine were amazing hosts and made us feel welcome immediately. My husband and I enjoyed the lovely spa bath in our room and we could take a few step and we were in that amazing pool. Every morning the breakfast were devine, so we could start the day. I will definitely recommend this to family and friends. We are planning our next visit soon!

It was my second visit. Fabulous place, stunning views. The lodge is well maintained and my room was magnificent. It was luxurious and comfortable filled with everything i needed. The hosts Steve and Charmaine are friendly and professional. I had such a relaxing time. Loved it and i highly recommend the place.

From the welcome reception from Steve to the thoughtfulness of the person who cleaned my room and left me flowers, to the stunningly beautifully maintained gardens and little treasures around every corner I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the week staying with Charmaine and Steve. I slept so well in the comfy bed and felt cushioned and safe alone in the room. Even the other guests were like old friends! Steve & Charmaine are easy going chatty and genuinely interested in their guests & made me feel at home and relaxed & I was so sad to leave. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Hildesheim.

So beautiful, tranquil and clean!! The hosts are amazing. They are so accommodating. The rooms/lodges are so well-equipped with towels, enough clean, comfortable bedding, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, etc. 10/10!! I can't wait to go there again.

We stayed at Hildesheim in mid December 2023 while visiting from Canada. It was an absolutely wonderful stay and felt like we were in paradise. Steve and Charmaine were so friendly, attentive and delightful to get to know. We are a family of 7 and our parents also came with to enjoy catching up which worked out well and they had a wonderful time. There were a few additional needs we had and I especially appreciated being able to use Steve's office for an online work presentation. Our children enjoyed the pool of course but also just the tranquility and ability to walk to the corner cafe and the health shop next door. The accessibility to Wilderness beaches, Vic Bay, the mall, as well as Plett, Sedgefield and Knysna is perfect. We cannot wait to visit this little paradise in Wilderness again, see you soon Steve and Charmaine!

We had 5 nights at Hildesheim Guest Lodge in the family room which was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Steve and Charmaine were outstanding hosts and breakfast was fantastic. Communal areas were lovely and views and the garden beautiful. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again.

From the booking until the leaving, everything was perfect. For sure, i will come again. Thank you very much for the nice time in this beautiful place. The owners have been so nice and helpfull. I have had a great time with them.

I cannot put into words how awesome this place is....the views, the hosts, the breakfast. I cannot fault them or the place. Even the dog that randomly comes for a visit. Charmaine and Steve attended to our every need.
