バン デル バルク ホテル グローニンゲン - ズイドブローク A7(Van der Valk Hotel Groningen Zuidbroek)

We picked the place because NO OTHER hotel in the area would give us a room for 3 (we travelled with our over 12 yo daughter) All was reasonable (service, cleanliness). We thought the breakfast was overpriced, so we did not buy it. Also, noise level was reasonable, but our room was facing away from the highway, so be aware. Quite far from Groningen if that’s your target

The property and rooms were fine. However, the temperature controls in each room were hard to adjust with no directions in English. We had to call down to the front desk three times and eventually they brought up a space heater which made it so hot we couldn't sleep. If we had known how to adjust the heat and how long it would take to actually come up to temperature it would have been a lot easier and much less agravating.

We stayed here because off the exhibition of the Stones in Groningen. good base if you want to visit the city of Groningen. you do need a car. hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Room was great. Staff very nice!

Some friends told me that this hotel is really good but am really disappointed of the hotel so sorry but I will not recommend this hotel

We went to this hotel to still feel festive and welcome 2024. The decoration and atmosphere was lovely. Dtaff were very pleasant and we enjoyed every minute of our 3 days there. We might keep the tradition and be back every new year.

Stayed here for 3 weeks on and off and if u get renovated room it is good, otherwise quite rundown smaller rooms and not too clean. Already spent 2 nights and still no cleaning of the floors were done. I have someone’s yogurt lid under my bed very visible and it wasn’t picked up. Very disappointing tbh.

Maximum comfort. rooms more than adquate. Perfect breakfast. Diner more than okay. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly en helpfull staff in restaurant, check-in desk, and waiters.. Recommend to others who are travellng in the northern part of the Netherlands

Superb from every point of view. Clean,airy spacious room with up to date fittings. Good restaurant facility with ample choice and relaxing surroundings both indoors and out. Good parking and electric charging points too

Excellent hotel. Poor check in experience. Very nice large room. Great restaurant! Only one receptionist and problems with computer systems meant a long wait to get our keys. Rooms in a separate block was a surprise, probably my fault for not doing my research, poor map/pictogram to find the room. Had to unplug the fridge to plug in the coffee maker. No USB sockets in the room. English TV channels was a nice surprise although we didn’t get time to watch much TV.
