I was staying with a friend in a twin room for two nights, to visit a member of the Starlight Express cast, the Hotel is perfectly situated right next door to the Theatre. The Reception Staff were very welcoming and our room was esy to find, using a lift. The room itself was very clean, spacious and airy (it was a very hot weekend). Water (both Still & Sparkling), was provided. The bed was very comfortable and bedding crisp and clean. Bathroom was fine with a good Shower. Room would be improved by supplying Tea & Coffe making facilites and an extra mirror, as good mirrors in bathroom and one full ength on Bathroom door, but the room could de with another mirror in the main room, so that two people can get ready at the same time. The Breakfast was really good, with an excellent choice of Continental, with a smaller choice of cooked, but excellent all around and the Coffee was very good. The Courtyard area is a lovely area for coffee or a Cocktail and the restaurant staff were really friendly, professional, with all staff speaking English. I hope to be staying again next year- thank you very much team H!

I stayed at the hotel again, for the first time since Covid, as I was seeing Starlight Express which is right next door. The reception and dining room staff were extremely welcoming and all spoke English which was a great help for someone like me who is lacking in the German language! The bedroom itself was immaculate and breakfast and other meals excellent.

The location is great next to the Starlight Express Theatre which we were visiting. Unfortunately the bar was closed after we’d seen the show although we were able to use the fridge in the lobby. Breakfast was a buffet style and an excellent selection. The room was a good size although the decor was rather dated. Overall we had a good stay.

Für einen Musical Besuch genügt es … Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und der Empfangsmitarbeiter war nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel an sich hat die besten Jahre hinter sich, trotzdem ist es sehr sauber und den Umständen entsprechend gepflegt. Beim betreten des Zimmers kam uns ein etwas „muffiger“ Geruch entgegen, so dass wir zuerst einmal gelüftet haben. Der Seifenspender war leer, ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Die Matratzen auf den Zimmern sind äußerst bequem und gut. Absolut störend ist die Schliesanlage der Zimmertüren. Diese sind so straff eingestellt und jeder Gast lässt die Tür zufallen, durch das Geknalle wird man morgens ganz sicher wach. Am Abend wurden wir in der Bar sehr freundlich und nett bedient. Die Getränke waren ok … Beim Frühstück, kam man in den Raum und wollte nach einem Tisch fragen, doch die Mitarbeiter ließen sich im Gespräch nicht stören. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und es fehlte an nichts, nur sollte man, auch wenn das Frühstück bald endet, die warmen Speisen im Auge behalten. Der Speck war mehr als knusprig, eher trocken und hart, die Pfannkuchen auf der einen Seite matschig und auf der anderen Seite trocken. Der Orangensaft würde gekühlt schmecken. Ansonsten war es OK. Wie gesagt, für einen Musical Besuch und eine Nacht ok

Ottima esperienza nella cittadina di Bochum! L'hotel è a una ventina di minuti a piedi dal centro ed ha spazi molto ampi, sia la sala della colazione, sia la hall, sia le camere stesse. Nelle camere l'arredamento è curato e nuovo, le stanze sono molto illuminate. La colazione era molto buona e varia, spaziava dal salato al dolce. Oltre ai vari campioncini, l'albergo metteva a disposizione delle ciabatte usa e getta. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima esperienza, lo consiglio.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer könnte besser ausgestattet sein. Duschen in der Badewanne mit Vorhang ist nicht so optimal. Ein Lüfter wäre auch gut. Ansonsten war alles sauber.

Es hat uns gefallen, Service sehr freundlich. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbüffet. Umgebung Zimmer sehr ruhig.
