Twr y Felin Hotel

The hotel is of such a high quality. The rooms, the bar area etc all excellent. The restaurant was very nice, quite expensive but very nice as a treat....I wouldn't take the family there as it would be far too expensive with children, but then again it's not that type of restaurant as it's fine dining. The parking and the electric car charging points make life mich easier for an EV driver. The position is excellent and I'd definitely like to stay again.

The hotel is in a great position for going into St Davids and walking down to beach and coast path. All the staff in hotel have been courteous, friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable with an amazing TV and sound system, excellent shower and large comfy bed. Room tea/coffee great. Breakfast was delicious apart from no obvious jam/honey or marmalade. Whilst we really enjoyed the art it has taken a few days to work out why the bar area, despite being comfortable and beautifully decorated, didn’t work for us - it was missing natures art, windows to the garden - personal taste l suppose. Feel the full potential of garden is being missed. We had one meal in restaurant which although pricey was worth it. The John Dory was fab and best cheesecake ever.

This is absolutely the best hotel in St Davids and is perfect for visiting this charming city and the nearby Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It is ideally situated at the top of the Main Street. A petrol station and laundry for wash, dry and fold are close by. The National Trust Visitor Centre is just across the road. The staff are helpful and friendly. I would like to call out for partita recognition Fiona who is so capable. The restaurant is very special with people who are hot staying in the hotel also coming in as there are not any first class restaurants like this in the area. I recommend this hotel highly to anyone thinking about going to St Davids. It will make the visit a memorable one and one that they will never forget.

We had a fabulous night's stay in Tar y Felin. Not only was the room generous in size, but the bathroom was extremely spacious. All furniture to a high quality. The breakfast was delicious and all the art around the hotel created an individual feel. Within easy walking distance of St David's centre - and all for only a little more than the local Premier Inn! Well worth the extra few pounds. Highly recommend.

No safe in room Lovely comfortable room and shower and bath although soap dispenser in shower did not work Blas Restaurant main course very expensive for not much albeit nicely cooked. Would not eat there again. Staff very pleasant and helpful

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and given a 'tour' of our room in itself has every modern convenience including coffee machine , extra large tv and separate shower in the very well designed bathroom. the only difficulty we experienced was a very low bath with no grab handles which made it difficult for guests in their 70's We enjoyed the very varied menu of cordon bleu cuisine served by very attentive and knowledgeable staff. The standard of the food was first class We would heartily recommend this extraordinary 'Art Hotel' which combined a warm Welsh welcome with a sophistication of a well deserved 4 star hotel .

We had a great room and the hotel is immaculately presented; it’s obvious that a great deal of care is expended in maintaining it to a high standard. The reason for four rather than five stars is the food. The breakfasts were okay but the portions felt mean; for example, half a mushroom! It was a case of style over substance. We dined in the restaurant for both nights of our stay and were disappointed. There was a very limited selection of sides (only one type of potato) and the desserts were small and very expensive. The food was borderline not warm enough when served. Not good value for money (the second night, we had only a main course and one drink each, and the bill was just short of £100). We would return but perhaps try to find an alternative for dinner.

A great overnight stay with dinner as an anniversary treat. Hotel is refined in a " Grand Designs" barn conversion kind of way. Quite a lot of narrow corridoors link the public rooms. The lift is unique and certainly not in a hurry. Mimimalist and monochome decor accentuates the hundreds of original pieces of contemporary art. The staff were professional and courteous and the bedroom upgrade was spacious and well appointed. Food was superb.

The whole experience from booking in til we left was easy, professional,polite and such friendly staff. Beautiful rooms, very classy decoration and such good taste the interior design. Cocktail bar welcoming and stylish. Breakfast very high quality and choice Above all, as with anywhere, the lovely staff made our stay very special. Thank you.
