Gorgeous place to stay , staff were lovely , clean and comfortable with aircon that made a huge difference stars at night were incredible

We had an amazing stay at Daintree Beach Resort. The location is absolutely stunning — right between the rainforest and the ocean, giving us the perfect Far North Queensland experience. The resort is peaceful and relaxing, making it ideal for a nature getaway. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, unique, and surrounded by nature — this is the place. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Daintree region!

This is another local secret: in addition to being a great caravan park and glamping site, the Daintree Beach Resort also hosts a phenomenal Melbourne chef who moved north for the tropical vibe. We love places where the passion of the team and their love of food make everything better. This is case with Daintree Beach Resort. Awesome food. Chill quiet relaxing vibe. Great spot to recount the day of adventures on the Daintree River and Cape Tribulation before finishing the drive back to your accommodation (unless of course you're already booked in at Daintree Beach Resort, which is absolutely the advice we'd give our family and friends). Nothing beats watching day turn to night with the Milky Way above and great drinks and food on your table. There isn't a single thing on the menu that we don't love. If the bruschetta or local barramundi are on the specials board, nab them quick before they sell out.

I stayed 1 night. The unpowered sites are not actually marked, it's a grassy side where you can just pull up anywhere. The park is nice and green, the pool area is pretty, although I didn't use the pool. Right behind the caravan park is the beach. The toilet block near the unpowered area was closed, that was a bit inconvenient but ok for the 1 night. The kitchen is in an actual room and basic, there were some utensils and the basics like a toaster and kettle. Everything was clean. Great atmosphere around the food trucks. I've arrived after hours so I didn't actually meet any of the staff, I got instructions via message.

Brilliant weekend away at Wonga beach. The grounds were beautiful, pool clean and tranquil. The food trucks are great for coffees and dinner. They have wifi that works which was fantastic. Thoroughly recommend this campground. Glamping tents looks great too.

I booked the Daintree beach resort train carriage one. The stench when opening the door was disgusting. Anyone with asthma could not sleep in the carriage. It was filthy with stains on cushions, dead flies on window sills, the toilet was dated and dirty, the walls are falling apart, the windows were filthy, the shared shower and toilet were outside the room via dark passageway and again dated and dirty. Definitely not worth $511 a night no wonder it was non refundable. Does not reflect well on Qantas. More than happy to supply photographs. Would expect a full refund.

These guys know their market. We had very well priced burgers karage chicken salt and pepper squid, but could have easily ordered from the Taco range. Drinks were also affordable for a family outing with a great choice available. Outdoor seating with overhead lights and even a pol table to keep everyone entertained long with the music. ( they have bug spray but we didn't need it) Wish we'd known earlier this was here!

We had the most fantastic 3 nights here, in the family glamping tents. This is as close to perfect as you could imagine! We only missed having a ceiling fan on the verandah, very hot and with no breeze cant sit outside, but thats all! We will be back :)
