スタジオ 6 マウント ジャクソン バージニア - シェナンドア(Studio 6 Mount Jackson, VA - Shenandoah)

This was our first foray into a discount hotel and we were very pleased. The location next to I-81 convenient, the office staff helpful and welcoming, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom and bedroom clean. I was disappointed that the only bedroom light was 2 LED sconces by the bed leaving the room dark. Also the room smelled of smoke. (At the time we booked I saw nothing about non-smoking rooms but may have overlooked this option.) Finally, keep in mind that you are next to an on ramp of I-81 so the truck traffic is very noisy. I travel with a sound machine and wear ear plugs so I was able to sleep with no difficulty but would have had trouble without them.

Rooms are newly remodeled and a nice pool that i didnt get to use this time. Maybe next time.

Checking in was easy, the room is clean, bed is comfortable. The surrounding area is ok. Parking lot is well lit. Good for 1 night stay.

Room was moderately clean. Sheets had an old blood stain on them which was gross. Room was very dusty and the door was taped.

The room was extremely dirty.. it seemed like it was never cleaned. The tub was dirty, I had to clean it before allowing the kids to shower in there.. dirt, hair and a dead bug or two. Dirt on the floors. Dirt on the beds. Just so gross. If it wasn’t so late with 2 little ones I would have left but thinking back.. definitely should have. Didn’t sleep well from the hard beds and the fire alarm chirped all night from a low battery. Never again. Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

Mount Jackson is a small town nestled between Harrisburg and Winchester. The location is very convenient to see the small towns of Shenandoah valley. The motel itself has been freshly renovated as pictured on this website. The clerks are super friendly and helpful and you are greeted with a smile. Wash clothes and towels are replenished every day. The gas station and eight eating establishments are also located nearby along with a grocery store and discount store. The motel is located right off the exit and the area is busy, but the motel property is quiet and safe with plenty of parking. Also, there are some interesting eats in the small towns of Shenandoah valley.

The first room hadn't been cleaned from the prior guest so the nice lady at the front desk moved us to another room. It was mostly clean, but could have been better. It was clean enough to lay our heads down for the night. The beds were very stiff and while there were three pillows, it wasn't nearly enough. They went flat instantly and were very squeaky material. I'm sure this is for cleanliness purposes, but they are terrible for sleep! The room had a slightly musty smell, but the exterior smell was by far worse. The exterior passageways smelled of urine. I'm hoping it was cat urine and not human.

Very clean room and spacious. Full size fridge and close to grocery store and convenient. Definitely stay here again!

Our room was not clean. The previous occupant spilled something red and sticky ond it was on the drawers below the sink. Also, the cleaning crew did not dust. Since we had driven most of the night and we were exhausted and did not discover this until after a nap. I will not stay here again.
