The manager picked us up brought us to a local restaurant for dinner and offered to drop us off to the train station after check out which is really nice.
They arranged the hot spring for us which is in a resort near the homestay. The resort is not well maintained but they provide towels, maybe because not many people come. We brought our own stuff, put them in a locker, dipped ourselves in one outdoor hot bath that fits four people, dried ourselves, changed and walked back to the homestay.
There are no western restaurants nearby. If you want to have some meal you need to let them know so they can cook it for you. They don’t have a menu. I assume they serve typical chinese food.
Overall, if you want to experience the simple life in Wuyuan, you can get a really nice warm room from this homestay during winter.
