We enjoyed our stay at the property but the dinner at the restaurant was really disappointing. Way overpriced the first course was amazing but they brought a jug and didn’t pour the whole thing for everyone I just wanted more. Next 2 courses were almost inedible and the main meal was tiny had good flavour but only 4 tiny pieces of beef, the dessert was also pour. My wife did a matched wine pairing and was unhappy with all the wine choices. I was still hungry when I left, pretentiousness food not worth it.

We came for a wedding and it was simply stunning. Our room was amazing and the 4 poster bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

Accommodation was beautiful surrounded by a beautiful garden. All staff are friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and has everything you need for stay. Breakfast was excellent and their restaurant was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel

Absolutely gorgeous "old world" rooms - very large and comfortable. Our's has a lovely balcony overlooking the Yarra Ranges. Elenor's restaurant food excellent as was breakfast in the cafe. Perfect for a romantic weekend away. Would definitely stay again!

When checking in we were greeted like it was an annoyance. Then we were told grumpily “we just get paid what they (Wotif) like”. Not a conversation we initiated, and left us feeling uncomfortable. Upon departure we were told “oh you are the last to check out”. Not a pleasant greeting or nice word from either of them. A magnificent property let down by poor attitude of staff. Tarnished our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebrations.
