Luyao Inn (Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Cableway)

Very nice, cosy and well located guesthouse (5 min walk from the cable car to Tianmen Mountain). The receptionist Tian Xin very friendly, willing to help with both organisation and information was a big plus of this guest Haus. The room was great, clean and the necessary for sleeping and personal care. In the surrounding area excellent small, cosy and typical places to eat. I highly recommend this place.

The best hotel… I stay in this hotel for 5 nights good location, valuable price.. Receptionist booking ticket to tourist attractions cheaper than at the ticket office and have very good service mind…

The receptionist has given us a 5 stars service. The Two rooms we have booked are under renovation so she gave us replacement and upgraded our rooms. She is super helpful and helps us booked train tickets which is a very painful process. Rooms are decent size and reasonably clean. There is no lift, be prepared to walk up the stairs. Our rooms were in the 3rd floor. Superb locatio, less than 10 minute walk away from Tianmen Mountain cable car station. Plenty of food just around the corner, very convenient. Only complaint is the noise from construction next door. Nice if the owner can make the room noise proof.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is perfect for visiting Tianmen Mountain as the cable car is only a 5min walk. The staff was also very nice and helpful. They also spoke English, which we really appreciated.

Super helpful English-speaking staff, strategic location

Location location location is going to make you happy. It is so close to food, the cable way and the bus to the mountain. The staff is so friendly and helpful. If noise bothers you it Is a little noisy and if you have heavy bags there is no elevator, but if you need a nice place to sleep and you are use to China as in small bathroom it is great for that location. Just some info for the bus to the mountain, you go to the normal bus stop at McDonalds and look for a smaller tan/brown bus, wave it down, pay 13 RMB and go to the end of line about 30min, then walk 5 minutes and you are there. Added bonus there is a Starbucks if you need some coffee courage.

Both the room and the staff were lovely and also had 24 hour hot water. And when I say hot water it’s the type you’ll come out steaming and red. It’s conveniently close to both the train/bus station and restaurants. If you are planning to go to the Tianmen Mountain, the cableway is just a 5 min walk. My little ne and only complaint is that the windows don’t close properly and there was a bit of a breeze but if you blast the air conditioner all night you won’t even notice it.

The hotel is good location for Tianmen cable way. Take Taxi from Zhangjiajie west railway station 25-28 yuan. The room was very clean. Our room was in 2nd floor. The most important was the reception, she can speak English, and add wechat for have conversations. She help us everything we would like.
