漳州薌逸·閩南藝宿ホテル（漳州古城北京路）

This place was lovely. The room: Clean, modern, no cheap furniture falling apart… well-designed. The shower is great. The tea set much appreciated and the water kettle lined with metal so you’re not leaching plastics into your water. The tea was super lovely too—tea sets without tea would be sad, so this felt complete. Wifi connection was good too. Service: the people were friendly, helpful, and quick to make suggestions. Even with the language barrier (my fault, I don’t speak Chinese… yet) we always managed. They also always said a friendly hello back. They also let me choose my room out of two options, which was super appreciated as I’m very sensitive to smell, and one of them was smoke-free. 😊 Environment: on one of the main roads of the old town, that isn’t closed off for scooters. It’s super easy to get to and explore both the old town and more local food options further down the road (highly recommend the fried duck and ginger, you’ll see the rotating fryers and smell it well before you see it). Lots of other food and cafes around—sharing some pictures of things you can get within 100m. The only thing is that due to the road and shops and cafes the noise can be quite loud till pretty late on one side of the hotel. I sleep pretty ok being used to cities, but if you want something quiet the rooms on the other side look into a school field—much quieter.

The hotel is located in the old street, and they provide a shuttle service to pick you up at the junction, which makes very convenient. The receptionist is very friendly and even messaged us after checkout when we accidentally left something in the room, helping to arrange delivery—really thoughtful service. The location is great for walking around and exploring the area. Plus, having a lift is definitely a big bonus, especially when you’re traveling with luggage!

We stayed here 3 nights and 4 days. It has a great central location in the traditional town. Near nightlife, shops and restaurants. Front desk was friendly and helpful with all our requests. Hotel itself is modern and spacious, as well as the room. Comfortable bed and pillows, very modern bath and a big bedroom. Windows were bight and the room had no negatives. Highly recommended.

Hotel is located in the old town and within walking distance to the street for hailing the cab. They also provide shuttle service to the east gate of the old town. The old town is very charming and pleasant to explore, shop and eat. The hotel room is very clean and tidy. Room outside has balcony to overlook the street. The staff are very helpful to attend our questions, especially provide clear instructions to get to the hotel. We enjoy our stay very much.

Good hotel with clean and new room. However can hear noise from other room and foot steps from upper floor. Other than that all ok and staff are very helpful and kind.

Friendly staffs provided excellent services . The hotel is close to many attractions in this ancient town that make the tour very easy. Many delicious local foods make the trip worthy.

Excellent location, in the old town. Plenty of eateries nearby. Friendly staff. We stay in a room facing school field. Very quiet at night. Morning you will see school children exercising in the field.

Would recommend this hotel. Location and service were excellent. Everything went well, hotel contact us per email in advance to give us the location and arrange shuttle car to pick us up. Would suggest them to put a hand cleanser’s lotion in the room.
