ホテル ロッスリ(Hotel Rössli)

Our stay at Hotel Rossli was perfect, from the location to the room to the access to Zurich. Everyone was friendly and helpful. And the views from our rooftop terrace were spectacular. Thanks for everything, it made our trip that much more special.

Fantastic room, great location. We stayed in the 6th floor suite with the roof top access. We could not have been more satisfied with the accommodations, location and overall ambiance of the hotel. The room was perfect for 3 and the rooftop deck was perfect for wine and cheese, with a great view of the city. The staff was vey kind and helpful, we could not have been happier with our stay.

Great location for sure. Pretty close walking distance to a lot of places in Zurich. If you're coming from US, you might agree with what I say. If you're European, you're probably used to what im talking about. Everything else besides location is sub par for the price. Room is very very small, im one person and have barely any room to put my suitcase and move around. It's on the street, and even though it's not a main street, apparently people don't sleep here during the week, so you can still hear people downstairs yelling and laughing and talking and it goes to past midnight sometimes. Pillows are flat and thin, impossible to get a good night's sleep. Walls are paper thin and I'm currently dealing with a very noisy person who won't put the volume down even after I asked. No AC, which apparently you do need in October here. And opening the window is impossible because you can hear people outside. Breakfast buffet is fine but very pricey. So if you're a light sleeper in your late 30s or more, this won't work for you. If you're a college student who could sleep anywhere, you'll be fine.

We had the attic room. It was really nice although the slanted ceiling sometimes can be a little bit of a head bump. No AC was a little hot in September but was bearable. Has an upper deck with in room stairs that go up which was really nice and had a distant view of the lake. Still nice to go up and just chill out. Was a nice hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel in an active location. Check-in was a little slow, but would recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay, me, my wife and my 13yo daughter! We got the scenic room, with the terrace, and it was LOVELY. Nice view, very comfortable. Small? I little bit, but comfortable. At city center, we could walk all around and it was very nice. The hostess Elena, what can we say about her... She was perfect! Very kind and helpful, I wish we had more ppl like her around. Thanks for the awesome stay Elena, our family is going to miss you :) We hope we can go back there someday! Note: don't go to the restaurant besides the hotel, the woman that is the manager or owner over there mistreated us, a little bit xenophobic... But down the street, the Italian restaurant? PERFECT too :)

Great location in the old town. My room ( 203) was great- with a big bath. There was no air conditioner, due to the age of the building- but the fan provided helped. The breakfast was fine, but not brilliant. There is a bar downstairs that does not belong to the hotel, which is cute. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive, as are most in Zurich. The main issue is that the hotel is understaffed. It was hard to get service and the staff at reception seemed unenthusiastic and did not have much, if any, local knowledge. Not that helpful.

We only stayed here one night but enjoyed it. The staff were helpful, and we loved the location. Quiet room. The bed was medium comfortable--mattress on the harder side. Our room had lots of windows to open up for a breeze, but the fan in the room did nothing to circulate the air and it was a bit hot without any climate control options. Also, leaving your windows open at night meant less privacy as other buildings could look right in and you could hear all the noise on the street.

Not sure why all the great reviews other than the really good breakfast and breakfast staff, lady at desk also great. My room is a two star room, very very blah. No desk service after 6pm. Street bar below is loud and waiter extremely rude, so rude I walked away. I think I may have gotten the worst room at the hotel, would not recommend. Looks nothing like pictures, at least my room does not. Just stayed in villa Copenhagen and this is a real let down.
