The hillside between Brescia, the chief town of the district, and the southern coast of lake Iseo is known as Franciacorta. Here, since the Roman age, the cultivation of grapevine has been rooted in local culture and today, the name "Franciacorta" is commonly used for the fine sparkling white wine coming from this area.
This private tour will allow you to touch all the excellences of this blessed territory: first, the beauty of lake Iseo and its isles, through a private cruise which will take you to the largest, Monte Isola, where an ancient tradition of boatbuilding survives. Later, you will be brought to a well known vinery in Franciacorta, where a full degustation of three varied of wine, served with Grana Padano cheese, will delight your palate.
