After visiting the Rodin Art Museum of Orange Garden Art Museum on foot, we walked through the Concorde Bridge from Concorde Square for about half an hour. Winter is the off-season of Paris tourism. Although there are more than a dozen people standing in line at the entrance of the Rodin Museum of Art, they can be admitted immediately by Museum pass. This gallery is much more than I expected. It's actually a villa with a big garden. The villa was Rodin's studio and residence. Rodin lived here from 1908 until his death in 1917. Before his death, he donated all his works to France. France transformed the villa into Rodin's gallery. First visit the garden, because it is winter, some places are renovating, flowers of course do not open, a little discount, but the garden itself garden design is very ingenious, let alone Rodin's handed down masterpiece - "Meditator, the Gate of Hell... It's in the middle. Paris is really very cold in winter. Today, the temperature is minus 5 degrees. Even if art is infecting you, it still can't resist the cold current and rush to the villa. If you have a chance, you must do it again in the spring season. Inside the villa, there are two worlds, the heating is fully open, and the sunlight shines through the large glass windows, bright and warm. There are more than a dozen rooms on each floor of the villa. There are large and small Rodin sculptures in the room. The famous "kiss" is in a large room on the first floor. There are several rooms on the second floor with Rodin's paintings and sculptures. Unlike other museums, the curtains of the Rodin Museum of Art are open, and the bright sunshine shines on the handed-down sculptures, forming a bright and dark effect of light and shadow. It really feels great.
The Rodin Museum is a comfortable mess to roam around. It used to be Rodin's studio, displaying many valuable works. The house itself is also very beautiful. Rotating staircases often rank on various "most beautiful staircases" lists in Paris. It is worth watching. On the side of the building is a courtyard with some large sculptures, beside which there are many benches to enjoy while resting. The well-trimmed back garden is also very beautiful, no less than the other famous parks in Paris. Perhaps because I don't know much about sculpture, I don't have the concept of "masterpiece" in mind. Instead, I can lounge around the garden lazily and enjoy it. When I encounter my favorite works, I can sit down and read them quietly. Unlike when visiting large museums, they are always crowded into a flood of audiences looking for their targets. In this small museum, you can relax completely and enjoy the subtle interweaving of light and shadow with lines and the breeze of summer afternoon.
2017 is Rodin's Centennial birthday. There is no reason not to pay homage to Rodin, but also to cherish the memory of female artist Carmel Claudel. In an era when female sculptors almost did not exist, the genius Carmel was overwhelmed by pressure, not Rodin's pressure, not Rodin's own fate, but the pressure of Rodin's influence (and the society he symbolized). If she wants to overcome it, she can only make her mind philosophical, or like her brother poet Paul Cloudel has faith as well, but she's artistic, passionate, destructive (and totally socialized). The last picture is Carmel's work "Mature Years" (collection of the Oscar Museum of Art).
Rodin is a famous French artist in modern times. He has high attainments in painting, sculpture, courtyard design and many other aspects. Rodin Art Museum is the best place to show this master's works in his lifetime. The famous sculpture meditator is here. You will absolutely marvel at Rodin's wonderful ideas and deserve to be a master of art.
Next to the Rongjun Academy, Rodin's studio used to display many of his works and sketches, as well as some of Van Gogh's and Monet's paintings. The back garden is beautiful. It's some big sculptures. The well-known thinkers, the gates of hell, Balzac and so on can be found here.
Included in the museum card in Paris, it is one of the classics missed by Chinese tourists. The location is very good. It's on the east side of the Rong Military Academy. It may need to queue up for the trip. Rodin's former apartment was purchased and renovated. Rodin only rented it before he died. Later, the landlord intentionally sold it. Rodin was unwilling to leave the familiar place. So he asked the French government to offer to donate his personal collection and works in exchange for the government's purchase to protect it. The house shows Rodin's works, drafts, models, and his own collection (mostly small works by famous Impressionists) as well as his lover's works. The courtyard is a very beautiful courtyard, and there are large pieces of bronze works of Rodin in the shade of the tree, which can give people enjoyment of beauty everywhere. Rodin's works are very passionate and infectious. My parents in their 60s actually like it very much, which is quite beyond my expectation. I asked Paris so many interesting things. Rodin's former residence is neither the most famous nor the most magnificent. Why do they like it best? My father feels that he can feel the passion and excitement in the statue. And the courtyard is really beautiful, visitors are not too many, you can enjoy it quietly.
Rodin Garden, a sculpture museum. Temperature bronze, breathing mud, soft albite... I heard the artist gasping heavily. Inspiration and sweat work, life and desire are growing. ???
Rodin's Centennial sacrifice to KIEFER-RODIN finally caught up with a small tail! The dialogue between Kiefer and Rodin, a German contemporary artist, attracted me most in response to Rodin's three paintings, lt; Auguste Rodin: Les cath &3; drales de France>, in response to Rodin's book The French Cathedral.
The Rodin Museum of Art is a very worthwhile Museum in France. There are Rodin's masterpieces. Most of them are here. For example, Hell's Gate is on display in an outdoor courtyard. The thinker, this work is also standing in an outdoor place. It's a perfect work. But if you watch it carefully, you will find that the action of the sculpture is extremely difficult to achieve. You can try it yourself.
Including the famous "thinker", "kiss" and Hell's Gate , many sculptures are displayed in the garden. The Rodin Museum has convenient transportation and reasonable ticket prices. There is a small lake and restaurant behind the main building of the museum. Rodin's sculptures are also on display on the platform of Varenne Station. The museum also has a dedicated room to display the works of Camier Cloudier and Rodin's private collections, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh.
