Submarine experience is a self-funded project. We set out on a speedboat and boarded a submarine in the middle of the sea. The boat is underwater. It is introduced in Chinese and can take pictures. But the light is not very good and there are many people. From every window we can see the motions of the seabed. There are many old sunken animals, anchor chains, hull parts and so on. Fish shuttle among them. It's very interesting. The water is very clear and it's a very interesting experience.
The Boffin Submarine Memorial is a World War II meritorious submarine moored by the tourist center. It can carry up to 24 torpedoes during World War II. It is well known for its outstanding record in sinking 44 enemy ships. Tourists go to the bridge and enter the submarine, experience the hard life of the crew in the narrow space, and sigh that the real life is not easy to come by. The open-air exhibition area is located near the Boffin submarine Memorial hall, which is basically some torpedoes. On the lawn, a Japanese suicide torpedo is very eye-catching. The huge torpedo is manned by people, ready to die with the enemy. Of course, most "Return to Heaven" torpedoes have no chance to go to battle at all. Like its name, it symbolizes the inability of the Japanese Empire to return to Heaven.
