This is a rectangular square adjacent to the fountain of the Four Rivers. The death penalty was usually held in public in the flower square. There were also permanent hangers in horse and bull markets. In the center of the square is the statue of Bruno, which was burned to death at the stake in 1600 for heresy. There are many open-air restaurants and cafes around the square.
