The Gentlemen's Canal is one of the three main canals in the center of Amsterdam. It's impressive because of its special name. Along the Bluestone Street beside the canal, we can see boats docking shoulder to shoulder, countless bicycles docking on the bank, tall and narrow houses standing beside the neat streets. The doors open on several steps or under the ground. Characteristic, and Amsterdam's houses are not mostly orange lights, not incandescent lights, in crowded housing and gloomy weather, bring a lot of mystery.
The Gentlemen's Canal is the first of three major canals in downtown Amsterdam, where the most famous golden bank is located. There are many double width houses, gardens and garages along the coast, which are very worth seeing.
