Every Chinese New Year in Singapore celebrates Spring to the Riverside on the floating stage of Binhai Bay. Premier Lee Hsien Long will personally attend the opening ceremony of Spring to Riverside in 2019. From New Year's Eve to the ninth day of the Spring Festival celebrations, fireworks are set off every day. This year's lanterns, in order to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Singapore's port opening, mostly display large lanterns with the theme of early immigrants in Singapore. There are also amusement activities and Carnival games, and other interesting activities, in addition to inviting famous domestic snack stalls to help. At the entrance, there is a huge lantern of God of Wealth, 18 meters high, holding the wishful stick (symbolizing power and good luck), which sprinkles gold foil every hour to let the guests receive the money.
