The name is Xinqiao, but in fact it is the oldest bridge in Paris. Since the completion of the project, it has become the object of praise by literati and poets. Henry III laid the foundation in 1578, completed in 1607 and named after Henry IV. In the middle of the new bridge, there is a statue of Henry IV riding a horse. Under the centre of the new bridge, there is a small garden which is elegantly translated into Chinese. It is called "Yaluyuan". This small garden is built as an adjunct building of the new bridge. Its geographical location is very unique. The north side is the new bridge. The other three sides are surrounded by the Seine River. It is like a big boat sailing on the Seine River. It is very popular with all of us. All the year round, no matter what season, as long as the weather is fine, it is an excellent place for picnic and leisure.
