Wukong Temple is located in Qingyang Town, Jiangyin. It used to be a large temple in history. The monastery was built in the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasty, formerly known as the Reclusive Temple. It was rebuilt in the five years of Taiping's rejuvenation in the Northern Song Dynasty (1980). The Reclusive Temple was rebuilt as Wukong Monastery in Fengxi, and the Huazang Pagoda was changed to "Wukong Pagoda". It has a history of more than 1500 years. In October 2003, when the villagers cleaned up the dangerous houses at the old site of the primary school, they found some stone building components. After rescue excavation of the tower foundation, they found the avatar of Guanyin "Sizhou Great Sage" Shelly. This is the first time that Sinhakshali has lived in China since the founding of the People's Republic of China, following Famen Temple and Leifeng Pagoda. In 2004, Wukong Temple was rebuilt, Guanyin Cultural Expo Park was built, and efforts were made to become a tourist attraction of Buddhist culture in China.
