#tripaway · Shibuya is a shopping and eating district popular with a lot of young Tokyoites. It's within walking distance from two other large shopping districts - Omotesando and Harajuku - as well as being quite close to Yoyogi Park. Shibuya deserves a prize as the district with more two-story televisions than any other area in the world. Hectic, colorful, joyful! That’s Shibuya!
Shibuya’s main meeting point — a statue honoring the most loyal dog in Japan, Hachiko. It’s actually smaller than I thought, so finding this statue was a bit harder with the people surrounding it. And some people still brought the loyal dog flowers! How sweet is that 🥺 I’m thinking of doing the same on my next visit to Japan!

Shibuya is home for me 🏠 This is without any questions the first place that comes to mind when I think of Tokyo. it is also the first place I head straight back to when I go back to Japan. I know every single street corner by hear because this location is filled with memories from high school up to now. Since I started photography I’ve always wanted to photograph this place from different angles, just like all the other famous landmarks. Anyone who has been to Japan will recognize this place, it has also been part of so many movies, including Tokyo Drift. One of my biggest excitements when I come here is my favorite sushi spot 🍣🤤
