When our car entered the glacier, the sky began to change its face, and it rained just a few steps up the mountain road. We were afraid to miss a rare opportunity, so we decided to ride on the motorcycle of three local Kazakh boys. One rides two people, and the old dragon has a high rebellion and does not climb up, leaving five of us heading for the top of the mountain. I was taken up by a young man who looked under 17 years old. He was nervous and muttered. Especially when he started, he only heard the roar of the motorcycle but didn't move. I was a little worried, but I didn't give up. You have to comfort yourself that you have a natural face and it will be all right. Raindrops gradually evolved into ice beads, which hurt people's faces. Their cheeks were so hot that they were numb that they couldn't even open their eyes. They really drove with one eye open and one eye closed. Raindrops fell on their stormwear and clattered. Especially, there were steep peaks on both sides. The roads were muddy and rubble paved. Motorcycles could be turned upside down as they drove past. God, this test is too strong, just the first day of travel ah so tortured us. It's hard to get out of the car and push when the throttle doesn't go up.
I think glaciers are more interesting than Nanshan Ranch, but the road is more difficult to walk. I went up. Tickets are 10 yuan, horseback riding is 45 yuan and overcoat is 10 yuan. Unfortunately, there are trash thrown away by tourists everywhere at such a high altitude!
Primitive glaciers melt rapidly every year as the climate warms up. From time to time, there is a roar of boulders sliding down. The weather there changes rapidly. Glacier No. 1 is no longer allowed to enter because of water conservation. It can only enjoy snow peaks and ice waterfalls by the roadside.
About 120 kilometers away from the city and the nearest glacier to the city in the world, the road condition is not very good, although the elevation is not high, walking up is tiring. Because of the greenhouse effect, the snow line has risen a lot, and in a few years, it is estimated that the glacier will disappear. Many places on the way here are warned not to go to the glacier, but tourists still flock to it.
The scenery here is unique, one day makes you feel the changes of the four seasons.
In the face of glaciers, clouds and shadows, and unpredictable weather, nature is really spectacular.
Glacier No. 1 "China No. 1 Glacier is located on the north side of Tianger Peak (4476 meters above sea level) watershed, the main peak of Karawucheng Mountain in Nanshan area, 127 kilometers away from Urumqi and the nearest glacier in the world to the city. The glacier was formed in the Second Glacier Period and has a history of 4 million years. It is shaped as a double ice bucket with a length of 200 meters, an area of 1.74 square kilometers and an elevation of 3730 meters at the end of the tongue. The glacier melting season lasts from mid-May to early November every year, and it still moves in the shape of "s" at a speed of 5 meters per year.
After entering the Tianshan Mountains, the two sides are really "Tianshan Mountains are often open with snow, Qianfeng Wanling snow Cuiwei", from the summer of Urumqi suddenly into winter, people tremble. Standing close at the foot of the glacier, looking back all around are the towering Tianshan Mountain between the vast clouds, the cold wind whistling, the sunshine occasionally sprinkled on the snow-white glacier through the clouds, between the heaven and the earth more and more small, but human beings have a cruel and powerful destructive force, as evidenced by the ever-shrinking snow line.
It's cold. Next time we go, we must wear more clothes. The mountains are really high. We rent coats and start climbing. At first, we all jump and jump excitedly. We run faster than anyone else. After a while, we all lie on the ground. We suggest that we should climb slowly, adjust our breathing, and watch your teammates well. Finally, we climb up, tired and stand on top and look down. It's really spectacular and the tickets are cheap. It's recommended to do warm-up exercise before climbing.
