Open Gate

Well-located and charming family-run hotel. Pasquale and his sister Daniela were so helpful in arranging transportation and providing information on the area. We enjoyed having our daily cappuccino and breakfast on the patio to start our day and loved having dinner at the hotel one night. As we had a short visit with day trips to Capri and Positano, would have loved spending more time at the hotel enjoying our terrace. Lovely stay in the charming town of Praiano.

We were so impressed with Hotel Open Gate! The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are great. We stayed on the second floor and had a magnificent balcony overlooking the water. The location is a perfect spot to day trip to other towns along the Amalfi coast and there is transportation right in front of the hotel. The restaurant has a great terrace on the water as well. Great spot if you are looking to be seaside but also explore.

This is one of the best hotels in Praiano! It’s a cute family owned hotel and every single person is amazing that works here. They are all very welcoming and so sweet! They helped us with anything we needed and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant is amazing as well. Their seafood pasta is to die for!! Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was beautiful, clean and overall amazing! Pascuale and Stefania were very friendly and so accommodating. They went out of their way as soon as we got there. The food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend eating at their restaurant.

We had to make several changes to our reservation / accommodations prior to us arriving in Italy, and the staff went above and beyond to assist. I wouldn't have any hesitation in booking with Open Gate again in the future.

The pros: nice location with unobstructed sea views, convenient parking next to hotel without extra charges, nice service The cons : no elevator, walking to other areas of Praiano requires to walk on the main road and with traffic and scooters that can feel unsafe. Room was relatively small, yet terrace was very large.

Me and hubby had a great stay at open gate. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The views are incredible! Pasquale was great. He helped us book a Vespa and let us know of bus routin the area. You won’t be disappointed. Do have dinner at the their restaurant too. Excellent food.

Our room and view of the ocean was breathtaking! Our stay was comfortable and safe. It's a beautiful B&B!!!! We enjoyed our breakfast every morning. We loved that we can walk down to the beach and take a water taxi anywhere! Great staff, so hardworking!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Open Gate. What a darling gem this property is. We stayed on the third floor, corner room and everything was absolutely fabulous. Daniela and her family provide the most welcoming atmosphere and really treat you like special guests. The room was small but large enough to suit us. The bathroom was modern and clean. We faced directly onto the stunning Amalfi coastline and WOW. I am so glad we didn't stay in Positano, like we originally looked into. Its too crowded there! Praiano has the most charming city center, piazza and restaurants. I cannot wait to return.
