MmetrochicaThe Queen Anne Urban Bed & Breakfast is number one for a reason. Our two night stay was great even before we arrived. They send you a link to a guide explaining thorough directions/instructions on your code for the inn and your room, parking options, local restaurants, etc. It made it so easy to check-in. We also got a lovely tour from Hannah when we arrived. The place is charming and full of eclectic art. Stevie made delicious breakfast and was super friendly. I did not expect mushroom & goat cheese toast. Yum. The back garden was adorable. We were in the Fountain room, which was huge and overlooked the park. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a massive jacuzzi tub/shower and two sinks. Not to worry, there was a footstool for us shorter people to get into the tub. Note, there is a step to get up to the toilet. I also liked our desk area and comfy armchair. The location was great for exploring Denver. About a 20 minute walk to RiNo or Union Station. I would highly recommend Queen Anne to others traveling to Denver. It was a great way to close out our first trip to Colorado.
When we were initially looking for a bed and breakfast for our upcoming trip to Denver, the owner Carl was tremendously helpful in accommodating our slightly difficult booking request. During our stay, my father was in Elk Thistle all 3-nights, 2-nights for myself in Gold Banner and spent the last night (husband joined) in Pasque Flower. All three rooms were amazing; Elk thistle is like an apartment suite: private bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Loved the sumptuous rich colors of Gold Banner and Pasque Flower had a terrific jacuzzi. The beds mattresses were truly superb along with the pillows. I have high end luxury mattresses at home and these rivaled ours. The rooms were charmingly decorated, spacious, and clean. The water pressure was robust, and stayed nice and hot for a luxurious shower experience. Ample amenities in the room. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Arriving late the first night in a snowstorm, upon entering, how lovely it was to be greeted by a warmly lit fireplace. Breakfast was terrific, as was the fresh coffee served in an individual french press. Would definitely stay again if making another trip to Denver.
