It’s a three-minute walk from Syntagma metro station, or X95 bus stop. A lots of good restaurants nearby. We walked to Acropolis and other major attractions.
Check-in process was excellent and easy. The room is large with a lounge, a kitchen and a balcony with a view to the Acropolis.
The only issue was that the air-conditioning unit in the apartment wasn’t working properly. It was very difficult to operate.
The hotel itself was nice and affordable. The room service and cleanliness were spot on. The downside was the location and the possible access of outsiders. We heard violent knocking and twisting of our doorknob at our hotel door, and we believe it was an immigrant from the streets trying to rob us. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel to you unless you need an affordable place and can deal with the poor location. I do not wish to offend any of the hotel staff, as they were very kind.
Very near to the Monastiraki train station surrounded by shops and restaurants. We walked to all the attractions we wanna see, there are always things to see along the way, so didn’t feel too bad. There is a nice outdoor terrace inside the bedroom itself, although without view, is quite nice to have breakfast and chill out in the morning before we start our day. There is also lift in the premise so don’t have to worry about climbing up with luggage.
The hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes.
As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel.
The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air.
There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed.
There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.
Gestore simpatico molto disponibile ed accogliente, peccato per il bagno in comune, perché quando ho letto la descrizione avevo capito che il bagno era privato e personalmente non amo spazi in comune con altre persone.Comunque gli do almeno 4 perché lui è davvero gentile

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the room was surprisingly spacious for the price. It felt great value for money.
One big plus is that parking is available, which is not always easy to find in Athens. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around the city while still feeling calm and comfortable.
Overall, a cozy and pleasant stay with everything I needed. I would definitely consider staying here again.
ゲゲストHotel Miranda was a fabulous spot to explore Hydra for 36 hours, we would have stayed longer if we could! Yanna and her team went over and above to make our experience amazing! They very kindly allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel while we awaited the evening ferry. Breakfast fabulous and the rooms very authentic to the grand mansion - the hotel has been in the same family for over 65 years!
