Hey..there is a free food for a simple breakfst....good location.near bus stop..Japanese market..and shop...very good in downtown..quite and nice room..
It was a pleasant stay. I had my favourite foods. I was planning on going to an amusement park and this helped me rest up, and enjoy my time in Houston while I was eventually going somewhere else.

MMark DuncanFor genuine motel experience whilst travelling Route 66 the Cactus Inn in McLean was as authentic as it gets. Very basic but was clean and provided a good nights rest. Not much in the way of cafes or food establishments (at least on a Sunday night) however room is equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee machine which is adequate for self provision - local convenience store only two minute drive away. WIFI not the greatest however as pointed out on the many wee notes and bits of info left in the room they don’t actually advertise it. Comfortable stay in one of Route 66’s founding towns, which also hosts the renowned Devils Rope Museum - not something you experience everyday and worth the visit 👍
DDonald CLocation is across the highway from the local airport; we heard few planes. Recently renovated room was very clean. The first evening, we called the service desk about a malfunctioning A/C unit. A maintenance technician responded within five minutes; after unplugging it and plugging it back into the wall, it functioned well the remaining three days of our stay. Breakfast buffet area was spotless and included DIY Texas shaped waffles, toast, muffins, two cereals, coffee, and orange juice. Service desk replaced each of our two room key cards after they stopped opening the door.
