Inn by the Harbor has a nice location, but a bit far to walk to the beach and to the business district. However, if you have a car then it should not be a problem. It has a lovely inner yard with some nice plants. The staff is very attentive to requests. The happy hour drinks and the continental breakfast were good. However, although the facility is clean, it can use some updates. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant stay at the inn but may look for other venues even closer to the beach or the business district.

Great people, wonderful day room with extras! We were surprised when arriving to our room to find a bottle of champagne chilling in the fridge. The breakfast was awesome. Although we didn’t use the bikes they were complimentary. The pool and courtyard were lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if ever we get the chance will stay again.

Home away from Home feeling. Very Nice and helpfull staff - we stayed 9 nights and enjoyed every day

When I first arrived I wasn’t so sure- for the price, the room was not as nice as I had hoped, but everything else made up for it. It was really clean, and remarkably quiet, especially for its location and the fact that the rooms have doors to the outside on 2 sides of the room. We slept great on the comfortable beds and enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was simple but sufficient and had a decent variety, and we enjoyed the wine and cheese hour every afternoon. We hopped on the free bikes every day that we were there and had an absolute blast riding all over Santa Barbara. The staff was absolutely outstanding, like I cannot say enough about that! As for the price, totally worth it, especially when you consider that most hotels don’t include breakfast or free, easy parking. Would definitely stay at this quirky little gem again!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights and were very pleased. We met guests who have come back to this place several times because they enjoyed it so much. And the free wine and cheese hour was lovely and gave you a chance to mingle with other guests. The free breakfast was very good. We also took advantage of the complementary bikes and biked the boardwalk. Wonderful! But most importantly, the staff were so very pleasant and helpful. Especially Aaron.

Surprise there was a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge! Very organized, simple breakfast to begin our day👍😊 We’ll be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the room which is spacious with a full kitchen and a large bathroom. Checking was fast and the attendant was friendly and very helpful. It's a great place to stay.

We had a pleasant stay. We appreciated the upgrade in room size. If you are many people needing to get ready for an event, bring a mirror. There are no mirrors except in the bathroom. I am a light sleeper so the AC/ heater was difficult for me as it is very loud. Breakfast was decent. Bring your own coffee. Very attentive staff. The pool does go to 8 1/2 feet which is rare and wonderful. Massaging jets don’t work in jacuzzi but it was relaxing. We did not have a chance to utilize bike rentals which I’m sure would have been nice. Gym is very limited. No weights, just cardio and very small.
