ザ ケンモア クラブ(The Kenmore Club)

This is probably the nicest place to stay in Scotland. Quiet and wonderful, centrally located, with the best restaurant ever anywhere. The chef and head waitperson are an amazing combination, making this the best dining experience. Ever.

We stayed here for three nights in late November and were aware of the electricity charges prior to booking. We were in a two bedroom upside down cottage with a lovely view of the loch. Overall we had a good stay, beds comfortable and kitchen had everything you need. A few things let it down however. There were some scuffs on the walls, cobwebs on the high ceilings and stains on the carpet in the lounge. The sofa is quite uncomfortable and could do with some cushions. The fridge was very noisy and the seal had come away at the bottom corner. The floorboards were very creaky so if you were still in bed and someone else was in the lounge upstairs, you could hear every movement. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we didn’t get to try there. There is a courtyard shop and restaurant across the road which has a good selection of produce and the food was very good. There is also a hotel in the village. It was quite a drive to the nearest large supermarket so do stock up before you arrive or arrange a delivery to your cottage.

My wife and I have been to Kenmore Club on may occasions over the years and always leave with the same feeling, namely, looking forward to the next time already!

Beautiful location. It was roomy enough, but the carpet was dirty. And the upstairs was really, really hot.

Great location. Rooms were a lot bigger than first thought over 2 levels as I was only expecting one level. Minor moan the mattress was just a firm for myself but might suit others. Could be doing with a wee sofa upgrade. Overall a great experience once again and will be back soon I hope.

As ever, loved our little two night stay at Kenmore Club. This is a place my wife and I love to visit and this stay once again lived up to our expectations.

Great value and beautiful location on Loch Tay. Attentive and responsive staff. Great space with 2 bedrooms for our grpup of 3 women (one with twin beds).
