Two words - Dimitris and Panagiotis. Two superb gentlemen that make great hosts and represent this superb hotel befittingly well !! Dimitris’ Strawberry Daiquiri’s are to die for, ask my girlfriend, she knows ! It is our final night here and have had a wonderful stay. Upgraded to a ‘superior’ room on arrival, very modern, very clean. Found all the staff very pleasant, very helpful. All in all this is a superb location, quiet, up a hill, either 10 minute walk down to the main ***** or use one of the hotels free coach shuttles that run on the hour. Pool area real nice, Dimitri’s pool bar well maintained with a good selection of food and drink. Stayed bed and breakfast, terrific buffet style, great selection of savouries and sweets. Could go on and on really. We’re booking to come here again, 10/10 !!

Lovely location. Friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool. quiet and peaceful. courtesy bus with timetable everyday. Bus stop bottom of hill. Supermarket across road. Breakfast good. Our room was 402 clean everyday. problem with air con fixed right away. overlooked garden surrounded palm trees. Special thanks Agkis love to here from you.(Dave & Tina). Plenty of of places to eat out try lottos was fantastic food with good staff. Is a must. We both thoroughly enjoyed our holiday felt totaly relaxed. War memorial is also worth seeing. We would definately come back in the near future.

We could not fault the hotel for cleanliness and facilities however the food was not the best , served cold at every sitting therefore we had to eat out five nights out of the seven even though we were on a half board basis . We will not be returning to this hotel in the future .

A perfect week at the Eleftheria Hotel. We had a sea view room which was spotless and cleaned everyday. Beds very comfy and soft sheets and pillows too. The hotel is on a hilltop and takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the beach, the restaurants & supermarkets....a little longer walking back up the hill but we walked it everyday some days twice! The hotel do put on a courtesy bus if you don't fancy the walk. Breakfast was buffet style & had a good variety and was always hot & fresh. We never had dinner at the hotel but looked busy when walking past. Pool area clean & always plenty of beds. Pool bar serving great food, drinks & cocktails. Sebastians beach bar is great for when your at the beach....no charge for loungers & parasol as long as you spend 10 euros there. The food & drinks are great with waitress service....recommend the classic club sandwich! Taxi into Chania old town was 18 euros & it is definitely worth a visit....beautiful sunset, bars & restaurants that wasn't too pricey too. All in all a fabulous, relaxing week away & would definitely go back.

Beautiful hotel staff very welcoming especially Dimitris at the pool bar his pina coloda cocktails were to die for,room was spacious enough space for us very clean room cleaned every day unless you don't need it.Food fresh and a variety of choice. Don't let the hill put you off its not that bad but we are from Yorkshire so used to hills there is a free shuttle taxi up and down if you choose.The entertainment singer put on was very funny a good night at the pool bar

What a great find this place was nice and off the beaten track. We have been here for a week and have enjoyed every minute of it. Great food and everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms are cleaned when you need them to be. 10 minute walk if you like to do that if not the shuttle bus is great. Restaurants local are great we eat in Tempo where the shuttle bus stops and collects very good food and friendly atmosphere. Almira beach bar is great with good food and friendly staff. They don’t charge you for sun-beds as long as you buy drinks. We took a taxi to Chania it cost 18 euro each way. Lovely views in Chania with great stalls down a side street. Only criticism is you can hear when the chairs are moved above and below the rooms We will definitely be back.

Although this hotel was clean, staff friendly and a quiet place to be tge food was dreadful. DO NOT go to this hotel if you are GLUTEN FREE. They do not understand what it means. I was quite ill for 3 days having eaten some wheat. The chef/cook would not even come and talk to me. Disgraceful.

We done a last min getaway for relaxation ,the hotel room we stayed in(superior sea room) had an incredible view , aircon worked and clean room , fridge supplied ,although no tea or coffee in room if you like that thing. We wasn't worried about that Bed was comfortable. We wanted more pillows which wasn't a problem and the friendly staff at reception helped with our request.if you are a fussy eater I suggest eating out,there is a nice restaurant at the bottom of the hill. It is in walking distance or can get the free minibus which is available day and night. Pool area is lovely and relaxed, plenty of loungers again incredible views.lovely pool bar with good food and friendly staff,all staff were very welcoming but have to shout out to Jim who works at the bar, he goes above and beyond with info on the island and makes a great cocktail! This is a family run business which I highly recommend, if you like the busier life a bus is €4 euros into the old town which has alot to do,there is also a new town which we never got to see as enjoyed the old town.all in all a great holiday and shall be returning

The hotel is situated on a hillside 10 to 15 minutes walk downhill to the main street, where there are many restaurants, beach bars and tourist shops. The hotel does provide a shuttle service to the street at set times during the day. First impressions of the hotel were that the room was adequate although a little bit tired and on the small side, however the hotel grounds and public areas were very pleasant. Disappointing that a 2 Euro per day charge was levied to use the in room safe. While we expected a double room this if fact turned out to be two single beds pushed together. A fridge and a kettle was provided in the room but no tea or coffee, The mattresses were firm but comfortable and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice although the breakfasting area did become quite crowded when the outside eating space was not an option owing to inclement weather. The pool area was pleasant with a small bar area, however, early season in May the pool was uninvitingly cold! All the staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable but special mention should go to the manageress who was outstandingly helpful.
