Letsos Hotel

Fabulous location beach couple minutes stroll and harbour about 10 minutes. Pool and hotel are clean and well cared for. Room we were in was fabulous, clean, great view, well serviced, friendly cleaners. Felt more like a 4*. Good selection at breakfast. Our Beds were comfortable, rooms airy and clean. We had a two bedroom with the girls being upstairs with internal stairs and own bathroom for privacy. Reception staff couldn't do enough to welcome you and make you feel at home. We came for our twins girls 18th Birthday and the staff went out there way to make them feel special. I would recommend this hotel for families (pool area is fabulous, very modern recently renovated), for couples and friends. Located by plenty of tavernas, bars and plenty to do. We will definitely be returning soon Thank you for an amazing stay

Before you come you should know the double sun loungers in the middle of the pool are 70 euros, even though we were told they were free by a member of staff, which was disappointing as we were looking forward to sitting on them. Our room was actually really nice, and the showers were lovely. The rooms were cleaned everyday however our sheets were never changed, which I would have liked since there was sand in their from when we went to the beach. The pool area is really nice, and you have staff coming around and taking your food and drinks order. Cocktails are really nice, so is the food, especially the burgers, they were lovely. Nice enough area, lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby and a 10 minute walk to the beach. You have to pay extra for the air conditioning which I find crazy, 50 euros extra, which I have never experienced before in an hotel, that annoyed me as it does not say that prior to booking. The water in our room also stopped working a couple times which was annoying. It also smells quite a lot of sewage around the hotel and pool, which is not nice whilst you are sunbathing. We had a weird experience with the reception woman, I don't know how to explain it she just had a strange vibe. When we were leaving she was also shouting at one of her cleaners, which made us very uncomfortable. Overall quite a nice hotel, I would probably stay again.

We were really looking forward to staying here but what a let down! The rooms have seen much better days and badly maintained. Our 1st room, we were moved after2 days and complaining that having to use stairs whilst being physically and visibly disabled wasn’t really safe, had jammed doors onto the balcony, a shower that flooded the bathroom and bedroom and the main door didn’t lock! There are fridges in the rooms but the electricity goes off when you’re out of the room so you can’t store any perishables in it. It seems all of the money has been poured into a lovely pool and bar. The food was awful, very narrow selection and heaven help if you have allergies or are coeliac as nothing is labelled. We were half board but had to eat elsewhere due to life threatening allergies. There were at least 6 guests per day, while we were there, demanding room changes or threatening to leave for other hotels and demanding refunds. Take your own towel as pool towels don’t exist there. There were extra charges for air conditioning and even if you wanted towel changes in the room other than the scheduled 2 day change. The staff, I must say, were excellent and tried their best to resolve matters. It wasn’t a restful 10 days as the hotel is off the Main Street with cycles roaring past until 2-3 am everyday. The walls between the rooms are thin and all sound is carried along corridors so no rest there if someone came back late at night. We know everyone’s secrets and lifestyle as you couldn’t help hearing everything from the adjoining rooms clearly. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

Second visit to here and both times excellent, friendly, helpful with an excellent pool and bar,looking forward to a third visit, beautiful island beautiful people how the world should be. My daughter loved the strawberry daqurias. Go visit

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Letsos Hotel. Even though we booked the cheapest room, we were pleasantly surprised by how perfect everything was. The room was spacious with plenty of storage for our clothes, and the balcony was a wonderful addition. The bathroom was clean, although the shower was a bit wobbly, but that didn't dampen our experience. The best part was definitely the pool, where we could relax for free. The restaurant near the pool was lovely, and the staff were absolutely amazing. They were so kind and friendly, always eager to chat and provide us with great recommendations. I would 100% recommend Letsos Hotel for a memorable stay. Thank you for making our time there so special!

Always been the letsos for us, never stayed anywhere else in alykanas. Stayed here multiple times and had amazing times until this holiday. We came with 2 new travellers to Greece. We were offered upgrades upon late arrival. We accepted, at a cost, had to be cash wouldn't take card!, as they were meant to be the "new" pool rooms. We'll what a shambles. Pools freezing, no sun on them! Rooms were not finished. My sons room didn't even lock. Rooms never cleaned. 1 bed made per day and not the other. Dirty towels provided. No hot water for 4 days. People constantly in and out changing cushions on sofa beds. Rude staff. Unhelpful. Belongings moved, cases opened, missing money. We reported all these faults daily and nothing was resolved. When finally speaking with the manager. We were frowned upon, called liars and ****** comments were made. We were absolutely shocked with the way we were treated. We were ignored for the last 3 days of our holiday. We've never felt so unwelcome or awkward on any holiday before. I will never return to this hotel again. Ruined our family holiday. When reporting to jet2 upon returning to the UK, the manager lied and denied everything.

I had the apartment just down from the main complex which was still Letsos, I loved it, nice big studio apartment, hopefully when I book again I get 1 of those. The staff at the poolbar were amazing, very professional but also always had good banter with you. The surrounding bars were also very good. Met some lovely people over there, saw amazing sights and the sea is crystal clear and warm. Also the food was very tasty and reasonably priced.

This was our first visit to Letsos and after reading the reviews before we came, with it being a mixed bag, we decided to bite the bullet and book as we chose a deluxe room. There are both pro's and con's to this place, but we'll start with the negatives. *Whilst the poor area is good, very big, there are too many things that let it down. Firstly this pool isn't exclusive to guests of the hotel and this isn't clear when booking with Jet2. It gets flooded daily with local kids, and it's not just the odd few. It's swarms with up to 20 at a time. The age of these children varied from around 10-20 years old. They're not the quietest either and at times smoking **** (including youngest children) and frolicking in the pool when there are little kids around. It's simply not acceptable and the hotel staff don't do anything about this. Other holiday makers who aren't staying at the hotel also frequently use the pool. This should be clear when booking as when it comes to getting a bed, it can be a challenge, and when you're a paying guest, it shouldn't be. *Half of the amenities around the pool are not working. The beds in the centre are absent and when querying this, we're told that they're not ready (not acceptable when we're in summer). The hydro pool doesn't work. Loads of loose wires around the hydro pool. It's a shame as the pool itself is great (probably why everyone flocks to it). *No hot water! We complained every day for a week until we were finally moved. We were told every day by the hotel staff to leave it running for 10 mins and it'll get hot, never happened. We complained to the Jet2 rep (useless too), and she advised the same. We weren't the only guests to complain about this either after talking to many others. Even when we were moved, Whilst we got hot water at times, it wasn't consistent. *Air con issues in our original room. Again we complained to the hotel that it wasn't working and each time we were told it was on from their end. That's great, but if we're telling you it's not working in the room then maybe you need to listen. It turns out there was a fault with with the air con (our room was a duplex so there were two units, one upstairs and one downstairs). We chose the upstairs one as the xool air would drift down and when we complained on the 3rd time, we were advised that they switched on downstairs as upstairs had a fault. But they failed to advise us this so we had three days of paying for something we couldn't use. We made it clear that we wanted 3 days adding on for the days we couldn't use it and whilst they eventually agreed, it took some assertiveness for them to do this. Even the rep wouldn't ask them to do this and told us it was the hotels discretion (surely that's what a rep is meant to be here for?). *Aside from the pool, nothing else to entertain kids. Inside the old cocktail bar they have a pool table, air hockey, basketball game, etc. But they're all just stored there and not working, why?? *For pretty mu

No sleep at any point, loud BUT close to a very nice beach. Went on a solo trip as I noticed there was unseasonably good weather just before it turned to winter - I now wish I has chosen anywhere else! Let's start with the positives: The staff (all but 1) were lovely and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The pool was gorgeous and there was always plenty of room (big plus)! The food, although often the same, was very tasty indeed. The beach was very close by and one of the nicest I've ever been too anywhere! The negatives (why I would not recommend to anyone): Sleep, the most basic requirement for a hotel? The whole reason you pay for a room? Yes, well forget it. Between the horrible cheap 2 stroke mopeds razzing past your window till the early hours, to the maintenance man or manager banging on the door of someones room for hours on end every day and shouting till late in the night, to the paper thin walls where any half-whitted selfish family can make themselves feel as though they are in the room with you, to the most echo'y corridor in the world, leaving no footstep or voice (no matter the time) unheard in your room and the leaving of the main front door open for all of these noises to travel right to your paper-thin door. I ended up being physically sick on my last day and it wasn't from the lovely food there. In fact, I was quite perplexed! I consulted my doctor friend (and google... I know) and it turns out it was simply extreme tiredness from not sleeping, something which was the most basic expectation of my payment for the holiday?! This all sounds like it's from a moaner (which is what I usually say when I see negative reviews before travelling). Well in fact, this is from a BLIND OPTIMIST! I've never left a bad review for a holiday and I've been on trips half the price. Opened a refund case with my credit card as I certainly didn't get anywhere close to the basic level you'd expect to have paid for. Would definitely stay near Alykanas Bay again, just somewhere you get the basic necessity of sleep. (Worth knowing: Wifi is good & free. Air-con is extra?! Drinking water is only provided at breakfast and diner, there is no refill point!? The 'fancy' rooms you see are ones you have to pay extra for, you'll be in the old loud ones else - Not clearly stated which is part of the reason for the refund)
