ザ ヌガ ハウス(The Nuga House)

What a fabulous guest house! I loved the chilled vibe, rooms are lovely, food is delicious, staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I attended a yoga retreat whilst at the Nuga house, and the yoga shala also offers open classes. A few minutes walk to the beach.

The Nuga house, was the worst experience of my life. The owner talked to us in a very bad way, i felt unsafe & life-threatened. We booked for 2 nights through ***********. once we arrived at the property we didn't like the place. Negative vibe! Bed sheet was dirty, used towel in the washroom, no proper check in. Since there is no phone in the room, no reception and no staff in the hotel i sent a direct message to their Instagram page to inform that i would like to check out I waited for a while but i got no response. We had to leave to find another place to stay. She came once we were in about to leave and started to shout. Since my bank account details was provided i thought they could take the fees from my account. She called me a theif. I got hurt mentally and emotionally by the nuga house, this situation was a big shock for me. I wanted to take more photos but the owner didn't allow me.

Worst experience of my life, the owner is scary not professional at all, the place was so dirty we couldn't stay even few hours, we wanted to check out immediately there is no reception no security and no phone to inform. And they charged us 100% of the amount and at the end before leaving. Please do not trust photos, i don't want anyone to experience my situation

Beautiful place. Well managed and friendly. Food was amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The place is really good for a relaxed holiday. Calm and peaceful. Mini convenient shops available closer to the property. Easy access to the main road. Overall beautiful.

The Nuga House is a beautiful accommodation right behind Kabalana Beach. Very stylish and clean rooms make for a pleasant stay. Avi and his team including the two dogs provide a very calm and pleasant atmosphere. Yoga classes are offered several times a day and are highly recommended.

When I travel to other countries I try to maintain a positive attitude and understand the deficiencies that hotels may have. But this hotel was the worst experience of my life. I had booked a hotel by *********** for 3 days. When we arrived at Ahangama we did not like the place, especially where the hotel was located. But since it was too late we told the hotel owner to stay for only 1 night and cancel the remaining 2 nights. Since we are officially booking through ***********, we realize that if I break the promise *********** can charge me from my card, but that did not bother the owner at all. That's where the nightmare began... Avi, the owner we met very badly started threatening us, the police, the immigration service, and most importantly threatening us that if we did not pay the money for all three days it would be our biggest mistake in life. It threatened to turn our journey into a nightmare. For the first time, I felt life-threatening. No matter how beautiful the pictures look, the environment is nothing more important than life.
