Splendid place to stay. The hotel is really nice. The location is marvellous. The front desk team is very kind and helpful. The service is amazing. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Overall great experience here. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing weekend

this hotel has a great location and guests can enjoy a great view. The rooms are spacious and the service is excellent. Dogs are very welcomed. Breakfast buffet is good and the the breakfast service is well organized in the special times. The prices are based on their assumptions that they are 5-star but they aren't.

The rooms outdated design looks like a max. 3-star hotel, but they generously gave themselves a 5-star rating, which is a joke. All of the staff are 16-20 year old interns, who have no idea of what's going on most of the time. Literally not one competent person who works there. There is no phone in the room, only an ipad to communicate with reception, which doesn't work. When I tried calling reception from my own phone, they didn't pick up, so at 9 months pregnant I had to go down myself to ask a simple question. Wifi was non-existent in our room, when I complained about it, they told me "it's a free service they provide" so I should shut up about it. No sorry, nothing. TV has 400 channels, not one of them is for international guests, all German. You pay 400€/night and they charge you extra for parking. The prices are luxurious but everything else is low-quality. I would never return. I give 2-star because the breakfast was good.

Das sauberste Hotel, in dem ich jetzt war. Man würde geduzt, was ich sehr angenehm empfunden habe und das Personal war bis auf den tätowierten Hotelmitarbeiter an der Rezeption (der schaffe es leider nicht einmal zu grüßen), überaus freundlich. Auch der Spabereich entsprach dem eines Grandhotels. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das exquisite Frühstücksbufett.

Folgende Punkte haben gefallen: - Sauberkeit - Größe des Zimmers - Spa Bereich (insbesondere der schöne Pool) - Kostenfreie Minibar - Großes Bett - Top Lage - Freundliche Mitarbeiter am Empfang, Housekeeping, Bar, Frühstück - Sensationelles Frühstück - Super Aussicht aus dem „View“ Folgende Punkte haben nicht gefallen: - Mitarbeiter im Spa Bereich wirken genervt - Poolbereich nur bis 21 Uhr geöffnet, obwohl in den Umkleiden bis 22 Uhr steht - einige Details, welche für ein 5 Sterne Hotel selbstverständlich sein sollten, wie zum Beispiel Getränke Service im Spa Bereich oder mehr Aufgüsse (am Samstag 1 Aufguss im 16:30h) - Im „Weitblick“ ist man nur willkommen, wenn man auch essen möchte - Das „View“ lädt nicht zum verweilen ein, sondern wirkt wie eine Bahnhofshalle Fazit Das „The Grand“ ist sicherlich das beste Hotel am Platz. Jedoch fehlen zu einem 5 Sterne Hotel einige Dinge. Die Empfehlung aus dem Fallstaff Spa 2023 können wir daher nur bedingt nachvollziehen.

Das Hotel ist gut. Frühstück perfekt. Der Service an der Rezeption war jedoch nicht gut. Ebenso die Sauberkeit des Zimmers grenzwertig. Die Location weltspitze. Personal in der Bar und auf der Terasse eher unaufmerksam. Insgesamt gut aber extrem teuer.
