ホテル ピビ ボレアル(Hotel Pibi Boreal)

It was a little hard at first to get here because it is a small out-of-the-way place that many taxi drivers had not heard of. However, once looking at an online map, it was easy to get to and very close to the airport - only 5 miles or so. It is a quiet spot, and the deck overlooking the trees is a wonderful place to have breakfast. The beds and linens are top quality, the bathroom is clean and new with a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. I will consider staying here again.

Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

Great place to stay for first night especially if you're looking for something more authentic than a hotel chain. The host made sure we got there safely from the airport even though we got in late and had delays with our baggage. In the morning we took a short walk on the property and saw leaf cutter ants! The host made sure we got pointed in the right direction on our way out. We would stay there again.

We enjoyed waking-up surrounded my nature. It was like getting a bonus day from our vacation as this is hotel is so close to the airport but it’s not an airport hotel. The owners are super friendly and the light breakfast was just what we needed.

We loved our stay! It’s a beautiful property with everything you need! Such comfortable beds, nice, hot showers, delicious breakfast brought to our room and a complimentary shuttle to the airport. Our host was kind and friendly. We strongly recommend staying here!❤️

This is a family run B&B - we arrived after midnight and they had arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport and they were awake and waiting for us on arrival to help settle us in and arrange a time for breakfast to be delivered in the morning. They went above and beyond to assist us and were very kind - 10 stars if I could :)

We had a really brilliant night here, very clean and comfy room, and the owners couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. They had great recommendations of places to go and restaurants and even dropped us off at a restaurant that night and sorted a taxi back. Lovely breakfast on the terrace too. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely serene retreat with just a few rooms... our hosts were patient with our arrival pick up and helped accommodate a late bag arrival the next morning, allowing us to stay extra time. The bungalow was clean, comfortable & perfect for our family of 4. Waking up to the Costa Rican rainforest outside our balcony was a treat with a yummy breakfast of croissants, jam, fruits & caffe. Thank you to these hosts.. what a nice way to be welcomed to Costa Rica versus staying in a chain hotel right next to the airport. Close but just far enough to escape the noise and be in nature.

We loved our stay. The views from our balcony were beautiful. The grounds are well maintained. Great spot that was close to the airport, but immersed in nature.
