The layout of the resort is unusual. Apar**ent/villas are laid out around a large area, which can be driven around and there is loads of free parking outside each accommodation type. The reception area has a bar and restaurant included within it, which is a separate building to accommodation. The buildings are all painted in various pastel type colours making a very pretty resort. If you had one of the apar**ents at the far end of the resort, it’s still less than 10 mins walk to reception/restaurant/bar. We had an apar**ent with 2 double bedrooms and there was also a double sofa bed in the lounge, though we didn’t use that. The apar**ent was very spacious, clean and modern. It was cleaned daily, beds made daily and towels changed daily if needed. In the kitchen there was a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, lots of cutlery, knives etc. A nice touch would’ve been some washing up liquid. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen other than making some drinks as we were all inclusive. There was an en-suite bathroom and a separate main bathroom. However, there was only 1 hairdryer, which not ideally was in the main bathroom. So if there were 6 of you getting ready and several of you need a hairdryer, there could be a wait while you wait for people to finish in the bathroom. There was lots of hanging space in the main bedroom, only half the amount in the second bedroom as one half of the wardrobe was locked (possibly used for storage). There was no chest of drawers or dressing table in either bedroom, so there was no real surface space to put anything down on in the bedrooms. There were bedside tables, but they were small and low (basically one drawer with no legs). A silly point, but I really missed not having something to put things down on easily! Beds were comfortable. The main bedroom and lounge opened onto a patio area with a sun loungers and table and chairs. We went in March which was out of season. The all inclusive did get busy at times. I can’t imagine how it would cope in full season when at full capacity. Although we always found something to eat and never went hungry, I think that with such a well equipped kitchen in the apar**ent, if I went back to the resort, I’d go self catering. You certainly won’t be missing much with the all inclusive drinks. They were ok, but the cocktails were disappointing. The pool area looked nice, but we never used it as it wasn’t really hot enough when we were there. The pool bar was also closed when we were there. All the staff we came across were friendly and happy to help. Luckily we’d booked a hire car for the duration of our stay, which was we picked up in Albufeira. It’s only about €4 for their equivalent of an Uber into Albufeira. It would be quite a bit of a walk all along very busy roads, so could be a walked, but not the nicest walk and very busy roads. The resort is a bit outside of the main part of Albufeira, so if we hadn’t had a car, we’d have had to use

Wonderful Resort we have visited 4 times and gets better each year. Perfect for families with young children, the villas are very clean and spacious, food always beautiful and the snack bar is handy for the kids. The pools are perfect for our family and the kids area/pools keep our children busy. The staff make this place amazing, Victoria in Reservations always a pleasure to deal with when booking, the reception staff always so friendly, the restaurant/bar staff always so busy and work very hard and nothing is ever a problem and a big thank you to Vanessa and Cintia in the Entertainment/Kids club they make Eden a real fun place and our children adore them not forgetting Eddie the Turtle. This was our second visit to Eden resort and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, our youngest grandchild loved the visits by Eddie the turtle at breakfast. The meals were all of a high standard with something for everyone. The apar**ents are spacious and clean. We will return.

We are currently staying at Eden Roc and I have to post that it’s amazing. We are celebrating our wedding anniversary and they can’t do enough for us to make a stay special. The hotel is clean, beautiful and decorated beautifully. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, we are staying in the garden bungalow room 521 and it’s so comfortable and quiet in the evenings. Thank you Eden Roc and all the wonderful staff for taking such good care of us you are all amazing.

Just returned from Eden Resort, travelling as a family of 5. It's a great resort and is different from your typical hotel experience of being abroad. Couldn't fault the food - there was always great choice at a great standard. Pools are excellent and every single member of staff was fantastic. Overall, a great trip and we would revisit again.

Just back from a week at the Eden resort. We didn't do inclusive instead we did self catering. But went to the buffet restaurant a few times during our stay and the breakfast was good. Good choice of diff foods and reasonable enough considering it's a buffet all you can eat. The pool side cafe has good food and seemed to have a good choice for inclusive. The location is a bit away from old town but only 5mins in a taxi and they have a shuttle that goes every hour to the town which is handy. Staff are all very friendly. Kids entertainment was good the nights we stayed in the hotel. The pool was a bit cold but it is still only May so I'd say it'll get warmer in the warmer months. The apar**ent was very clean and quite spacious and cleaned most days. We were a family of four but it could have fit 6 easily. We didn't try any of the spa trea**ents but again the staff were lovely and very helpful. There's a mini market on site with a few bits if you're self catering which is handy for breakfast or even for snacks or bits for kids you might need like nappies etc. Overall our stay at the Eden resort was great. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice family break away in Portugal!

Travelled here as family of four. First family holiday abroad. Children 22 months and 4. Cannot fault this hotel! The staff are lovely, the food delicious and caterers for everyone and very clean resort. We stay in 3 bed villa and was soooo spacious! Indoor and outdoor pools. Children’s club excellent - all staff brilliant but want to particularly thank Rebecca and Caroline who played beautifully with our little boy. Highly recommend this hotel!!! We’ll be back for sure!! Thank you team EDEN for making our first family holiday so perfect x

The whole experience was so lovely. The place is beautifully clean, swimming pools are lovely, rooms are very nice. Close to old town /beach. Lots to do for kids. But the thing that made it for us is how amazing the staff were. They decorated our room for our 7 year old as it was his birthday during our stay (we didn’t mention this to anyone so it was a huge surprise!) they also arrived on the morning of his birthday with treats for him. Such a lovely touch and really made the holiday extra special. The kids club team were brilliant too! Highly recommend for families
