Great hotel quality at the center of Alesund.

Everything was lovely. Room was generous sized and bed was plush. We enjoyed the cocktail bar at night. Lots of cozy nooks and corners to relax around the hotel. Breakfast was great - one we would go out of our way to pay for in a restaurant.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The hotel has an incredible aesthetic. The fireplace in the lobby is awesome and the place smells good because of it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is a sauna and cold plunge in the ocean that is super cool.... you can also book outdoor bathtubs. Once of the best experiences I had travelling to Norway.

I love the atmosphere of this hotel. The possibility to take a dip in the ocean is an added bonus. I only with I had more time to spend at the hotel, and in beautiful Ålesund. And next time I will make sure to book a table at a restaurant in advance. I would totally recommend staying at Hotel Brosundet.

The hotel was nice but the staff at the front desk was not very friendly. We struggled finding a place for dinner. There was just a shrug with the shoulder and a comment „it’s Norwegian summer holidays plus a lot of tourists“ True but not helpful… No other help offered Furthermore the Lobby is very cozy but it comes with an intense smell of smoke. Very unpleasant und unhealthy. Too bad. Looked so inviting

They’re for a few days for work. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent view of the canal. The fitness area was also very nice. However, the sink leaked directly onto the floor below it and the walls are very very thin. If the person next door shut their door, my bed rattled. We weren’t able to get into the hotel restaurant any night we were there but did enjoy their bar. Overall, a very nice stay.

Fantastic service, all staff polite and knowledgeable, by far #1 selling point for this hotel Great location, services and best restaurants in the city within a stone's throw Hotel itself has a wide variety of services and the building is very atmospheric due to its architecture -Age of the building does show in that the noise isolation is poor. Noise from the hallways or outside the building makes sleeping late a troublesome option -Jr. suite was large and the view was good, but the bathroom could use a renovation and we found it disappointing there was no minibar or fridge in the room. Very slippery bathroom floor, I would be scared to have elderly people using it. All in all a net positive, the negatives were outweighed especially by the staff and the variety of services the hotel had.

Beautiful boutique hotel ridge in the centre. Swim in the harbour followed by the outside bath was an incredibly unique experience. Breakfast outstanding, can’t wait to return one day.
