Alicante Gran Sol

The location is perfect and the view is amazing. Room was quiet small and the bathroom not very nice .

This is a nice city centre hotel which is close to everything you would want... Bars restaurants beach shopping.. This place is not a 5 Star hotel and does not claim to be but the friendly and polite members of the hotel make you feel like it is.. The room we booked had a great see view for a small extra cost my advice book it you won't be disappointed believe me.. Breakfast.......I don't think they could provide any thing more... Just remember your going to Spain not Blackpool so don't say the sausage and bacon don't taste normal.... enjoy

Perfectly situated in the centre of Alicante with sea views from the higher floors. We were on the 11th floor with a perfect view of the castle and a side sea view.We were b&b and really good choice of food although the hot food was lukewarm. Room was spacious and the cleaning of the room Was really excellent. Some noise from outside at the weekend but good double glazing muted that.Disappeared that we could only get 2hours late checkout which had to be paid for( we had a late flight). We had a balcony but very narrow but could sit out. Missed a pool or roof terrace.

This is simply the best hotel in Alicante. A super location great views (make sure to go to the bar on the top floor. Comfy rooms and very helpful staff. The breakfast here is superb one of the best buffet breakfasts I have had. We had an early start and they arranged the taxi and gave us a picnic box as we were too early for breakfast. This was our third time here.

I was on a golf trip to Alicante at the end of February and forgot to write this review.. Hotel is the tallest building in Alicante with large signage on the side of the building.. If you are street level the entrance is on the corner and not easy to notice. Room was clean , breakfast was plentiful , there is a great rooftop bar offering nibbles and cocktails. We had a hire car, you park further up the street and your ticket is stamped for cheaper parking, drop off can be tricky as the hotel is surrounded by road.. No complaints, close to restaurants and bars .

Lovely 3 night stay in this centrally located hotel. We had a superior room on the 12th floor with views of the marina and castle. Room was well equipped and clean but could have done with a mirror near a plug point for drying hair. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice but it did get quite busy so had to queue for a table a couple of mornings. Roof top bar was good and reasonably priced for a drink with a view.
