Premier Inn Alnwick

Good hotel, food good, staff very friendly, clean a comfortable. Good choice of meals, great breakfast, all you can eat. Plenty of car parking. Just off main road. Unfortunately the location not so good. 40 minute walk to centre and on small industrial estate.

Thank you for looking after us. We had a great stay and breakfast at this hotel , all of the staff are outstanding and a credit to the company, all staff have great customer service skills and made us welcome from the moment we walked in and to we had to leave and head home . Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and looking after us very well

Our stay here was fine but for the young lady on reception i was not impressed. We have stayed in many premiere inns over the years but on arrival this lady was clearly busy on her screen she made no eye contact or acknowledgment we were there... if there is one thing i dislike is being ignored. She finally asked our name still without looking at us gave us a key. No mention of if we would like to book evening meal/ breakfast. We have always been greeted well at these places....the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly just a shame she wasnt. We still enjoyed our stay but please dont make people feel invisible.

Fabulous place to stay. All staff friendly and helpful, especially Tracy and Daniel. I had eye drops that needed to be kept.in the fridge which must have been annoying for them but they didn't make an issue of that, or being asked for mustard when they were busy. Lovely and clean everywhere. Towels bed and bedding all good quality. Thank you chaps x

Comfortable rooms and super/friendly staff; the approach to the hotel doesn’t look so good as it’s on a trading estate, but don’t be put off by this.Once at the front there’s ample parking and a very warm Northern welcome

The hotel is on an industrial estate so don’t expect any pretty walks or nearby restaurants. The closest places to get food were a petrol station and a McDonalds. We had to venture out and get food as the restaurant in the hotel was shut for all 3 nights of our stay due to ‘staffing problems’. This wasn’t communicated to us unless we asked each day. When we first arrived my husband pointed out that the restaurant wasn’t very big but I didn’t think anything of it until breakfast the next morning when there was a queue to get a table. Even the tables in the bar area were all pushed together and full. You would have thought that the people who designed the hotel would have known how many rooms there were so they could build a big enough restaurant but sadly no. We actually cancelled our breakfast on our last morning as it was too much of a hassle only to be told that since we prepaid it would take 4-6 weeks to refund our money. And she wrote our room number and name on a scrap bit of paper to remind her to process it later. Don’t think we’ll ever see that refund. The positives: modern, clean room, plenty of parking spaces & chargers for our electric car and it was in a quiet location so we got excellent nights sleep

This was a lovely hotel, very clean and very helpful staff. Would highly recommended it. Very secure with a brilliant breakfast

Really enjoyable stay. Hotel had all the facilities we needed and was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We wanted to visit local attractions and stay somewhere comfortable and this was ideal. We didn't eat in the hotel, but had a drink when we got home in the evening and that was very pleasant.

We chose this hotel as it was new, with lots of car parking, breakfast and handy for several of Northumberland’s golf courses . It was a fantastic place to stay and more than met our needs. We walked into Alnwick, its about a mile, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants , which made for great evening entertainment. Andif it rains, there’s always Alnwick Castle and Barter Books ! This hotel is a great base and I thoroughly recommend it !
