ザ タバーン - ステーキハウス アンド ロッジ(The Tavern - Steakhouse and Lodge)

酒店下面是餐廳兼酒吧，人來人往熙熙攘攘。上面房間不多，簡單的裝修和傢俱。服務員實際就是餐廳服務員。美中不足的是暖氣熱水很慢才上來，房間很冷。但房間確實便宜，還能聽到遠處的鐘聲，也算物有所值。

Although the Restaurant gets excellent reviews the accomodation leaves a lot to be desired. Radiatir not working, damp smell in accomodatuon an room, carpet in need of deep clean or to be replaced. Shower cubicle showing moluld and damp coming througw a couple of walls. All in all not a pleasant experience.

Staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble, though the accommodation leaves a lot to be desired , very tired decor,bedsheet didn't fit the mattress, shower didn't work properly, mould on the window frames, even though it was the middle of October the heating wasn't on. £90 per night was overpriced considering the standard of accommodation & no breakfast included. Would I stay there again? No definitely not, there's better accommodation for far less in Alnwick

The staff were lovely, the room was delightful, and priced fairly too. I loved staying here, and when I next go to Alnwick I plan to stay here again.

Full of character, room was very comfortable and cosy and we enjoyed the view from the bay window. Bathroom was very well appointed and the heating worked very well. In the middle of town, so in walking distance to everything. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Loved our stay - thank you!!

The only complaint really was that the room was quite small (although the attached bathroom was great!). Otherwise it was a very convenient location.

Staff very helpful and food excellent, and would definitely use again also would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely stay for 4 nights. Room 1 was lovely and big, nice bathroom though the shower was adequate, hot water was not very hot. Good central place for visiting Alnwick castle and gardens. The restaurant and food was outstanding at the Tavern, staff were very nice and helpful. We had a problem with the lock on our room door, it was sorted the next day and we were refunded a nights stay ❤️

Staff were friendly and helpful from the start . Our room was small but cozy and well prepared . View of the town from the room was great . Only negative was the bathroom with a broken toilet seat and dirty shower . The latter was mould and limescale covered to the point that we were reluctant to use it . Shame as this cleanliness issue was the only negative aspect of our stay . Being able to go downstairs to the pub for great food after a long day , was brilliant .
