Très belle expérience à l’hôtel en front de mer. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Le personnel est très aimable. Loin des lieux touristiques et du port.

Beyond my wildest expectations. I retired in the Philippines and have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout this beautiful country. Resorts in the Philippines can be a hit or miss proposition. Unfortunately most severely lack in the areas of customer service, cleanliness and basic maintenance. The concept of pocketing every peso over reinvesting into the property unfortunately seems to be the norm. The great news is this resort is a unicorn. You feel at home as soon as you arrive. The owners personally great you and show you to your room. The rooms are tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean and modern. The restaurant's menu is extensive and the quality and presentation above par. My only complaint was they allowed smoking in the restaurant area (only place I've ever seen that allowed in the Philippines). Would I recommend this resort to friends and family? I think you already know the answer to that question. 😊

This is the kind of place where you bring a book and enjoy the serenity of the hotel. You won't find any tv's here, which I find to be a good thing. The food was excellent with lots of choices and there are plenty of fresh drinks to choose from. I would not recommend this place to a family with small children though. The pool is quite deep and the whole place feels more like a place where you go to relax. The beach isn't the nicest either, they keep it clean below the hotel but if you want to go swimming in the ocean you have to walk far.

If your looking for peace and quiet in Paradise this is your place! The rooms were very nice, The staff was very friendly! The grounds and beach are Just Beautiful. I could have stayed there forever! The owners are very nice as well. This place gave me a lot of inspiration for our own house we're planning to build when we retire in the Philippines . Hope to return again someday.!

The attention given to details in this resort is not found in other resorts. I have traveled the world for decades and there is no question this is one of if not the best relaxing resort that I have ever been to. We will be going back!!

Tranquil and relaxing place with select rooms overlooking the sea or the garden. Have a dip in the infinity pool, with the best view either during morning sun, or at sunset, preferably with your choices of international beers, wines, cocktails, or my all-time favorite cucumber or mango shake. Must try is the onsite restaurant, which has a wide selection of international dishes, including German dishes, and Filipino favorites. There is always something new to try and savor. You can either just chill on the beach, kayak along the coast, snorkel and swim with the turtles, or just read from the garden, while looking out at sea.

JR Residence is a hidden gem in Anda! I'm so happy I discovered this place while in town. The finest spot to be, surrounded by lush greenery and just steps away from the beach. The rooms were also spacious and comfy. I especially liked the one we booked, the Penthouse, because it had a large balcony from which we could enjoy the beautiful view of the sea. They also provide guests with good food! Super delicious “lami kaayo”. I personally met the owner, Miss Jilo, who was very friendly and generous enough to treat us to a local beer. Overall, it was a very good stay and I recommend it to those who are looking for a nice and comfortable resort in Anda.

Very nice small hotel with a great view and nice private beach. There is a pool with several lounge chairs to relax and it is immediately next to a small bar and outdoor restaurant seating area. The staff are all friendly and helpful. There is even a small boutique onsite. I’ve stayed twice now and expect to visit again. Since the owners live onsite snd all the staff lives nearby they have a good network of support services available like spa, diving, tours, activities etc. They will send their driver to store or take you if you need anything but there isn’t much else in Anda. 2 other small hotels not far in either direction along the coast in case you want to try different menu….depends upon how long you are staying. The menu at J&R is varied and good. Breakfast is excellent. Since it’s about 2 hours from airport I suggest you organize ahead the hotel van to meet you if needing transportation
