Very pleasant trip. Room are enough big, confortable, modern. Bed are quite firm, but really good for the back. Climatisation is working really properly and pushing it to fast mode, is quite silent. Very quiet as well from etxernal ,noise. The italian shower is spacious and water pressure is good enough. Really nice to have WC separately from the bathroom. The breakfast is really complete, with a nice view on the ocean. Swimming pool is really nice, with 2 ground level fro kids and adults. People at reception are really nice and always ready to help. A really nice place to be in Anglet close to surf spots and quite close to all restaurants in Anglet. At least with a bike, it's 6-7mn. I can only recommend.

I discovered the hotel 10 years ago and used to come for the thalasso. Second time i come with the family to have some rest in their spa …very disappointed because it is NOT possible any more to relax. Every hour there is an aqua gym for the people NOT from the hotel …so you CAN NOT be quiet and USE the POOL. Loud music, screaming and too much people. Don’t go there if you want to relax in the spa … The cleaning service was not good enough (human’s and dog’s hairs). I asked the cleaning lady to wait until I will dress up and continue her cleaning she left and never come back. Restaurant has a beautiful view. Not so many dishes, but tasty .

The heated pool is fantastic, as you can use it even if the weather is not the best! Great place for walking promenades, sunbathing and relax. Would be great if you could get to know if the room you are booking will or will not have a terrace as there is a big difference and apparently there is no way to know.! Could do with a more extended bar & snack service, I feel they are too short. Breakfast & rooms are good enough. The spa also seems to be good, didn´t try it as weather was good and used the outside pool. Third time we come, and will not be the last!

What a jewel of a hotel/spa/resort. I have spent the last few years going to Maestro Jordi Savall’s magical festival at Abbaye De Fontfroide and exploring the exhilarating countryside of France. My husband and I plan to move here after 40 years in Washington DC. We are both enamored with France and the French and hope to spend our years living here. I love the Mediterranean and was not especially enthusiastic about exploring France’s Atlantic Ocean side. Was I ever wrong. Hotel Altlanthal is a jewel among jewels. Of the hundreds of hotels I have been in on both sides of the Atlantic, few compare to this jewel of a resort. The views of the ocean and sunsets are beautiful. The room was clean and luxurious. The restaurant had delicious, fresh seafood that melts in your mouth. My husband and I were blown away. I won’t even mention our dessert. Does any place on earth compare to the French? What sets the Hotel Atlanthal apart is the people. The customer service was beautifully done. Thé quiet, thé calm, the humility and the constant cheerfulness made me relax and feel like a guest in their home. Excellent work, Hotel Atlanthal. You shine. The room was disgusting. We found mold on every carpets,toilet and shower really dirty(hairs and weird stains), spider web on the balcony. Bed really dirty filled with Black stains. We had to asked to change pillows because our pillow was horrible it smelled like someone trew up on it and had some weird Green stains all over. The walls were also stained. We left as soon as possible. We Will never come back

The Hotel and Spa were very nice- Hotel 4* as rated. The food was very good, varied and the fish proposed everyday was cooked perfectly. The hotel personnel was lovely and very helpful- as well as all the people working in the SPA who helped us get to our daily treatments. We would not hesitate to go back there again.
