Have just returned from my first ever solo holiday and after a ton of research, finally chose Antique Roman Palace after reading all of the reviews and wasn't disappointed with my choice. Lovely rooms that were well maintained and no issues with housekeeping, it was fun to see how artistic they were with preparing the bed, the first night was a creature wearing my glasses which genuinely made me laugh when I walked through the door. Food was good with plenty of choice, if you didn't want to eat in the main restaurant, there were food options in the 24 hour bar that were freshly prepared upon order. The hotel has two pools as well the main beach over the road, where the staff member was always smiling and attentive, as you could access drinks. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. Only drawback was that there weren't too many English speaking guests, so as a solo traveller, that was a bit limiting - but it's not the hotels fault! Loved the place ❤️

Had a lovely time at this hotel, the room was spacious and kept very clean by the excellent staff. The hotel is in a very good position, a walk to the beach only takes under 5 minutes and a bus to the centre of town is very good value at 9 tl .The nights can get a bit noisy with disco music playing until midnight but ear plugs could solve this. The breakfast is the same each day and a buffet style could sort this out. Overall a very pleasant stay helped by an excellent management team.

This hotel.is exceptional value for money however its the only resort where we have ever had a comfort break on the airport transfer. 2hrs 50 mins is a long time after a long flight. We paid the equivalent of £40 p/p per day all inclusive. Cheap as chips. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly. Our room on 5th floor was large with a double bed and 2 singles. It did overlook the back street but it's size compensated for its view. We dont have children but the two entertainment staff are excellent with the kids. There is a large variety of food in the buffet restaurant but it is mainly aimed at Eastern European pallete. Sprouts for breakfast? You will still find something to eat and wont starve. We ate at the bistro bar on a lunch time and this was delicious. I do recommend making use of the one use fish restaurant as its delicious. The private beach and pier with its own beach bar is brilliant. One disappoin**ent was a problem.we had at the spa. Our massage was brilliant and we signed up for 400 euros of massages. There was a problem in taking our credit card for payment and we ended up trying 2 cards. Both were declined however the card statements showed debits of £900. This was eventually refunded but the stress caused me to cancel the massages we had booked. This was also refunded but the experience left me totally stressed out and did put a damper on the holiday. Apparently the spa is a totally separate business to the hotel. All in all with the exception of the spa problem and distance from airport this hotel is excellent value and I would recommend it to everyone.

Like one man said - this hotel has something that many other hotels are lacking - soul. Felth like second home. Felth like family. So friendly and naturally cheerful. There is also a parrot here and few cats, it makes this place even more cozy. They are so nice with animals and guests, tries cheering everyone up. They are just naturally very pleasant people to be around. One staff member celebrated her birthday here and everyone greeted her with so much warmth. They even gave guests some free cake to celebrate. All family members and kids gathered and it made me feel so alive and grateful for the things that really matter - family, friends and everyone around us. Im sure to come back here some day! By the way... THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING HERE! Big variety, everyday something new and very tasty! I hope they will never change this cause that also left me the biggest impression on this hotel! Yes, it aint super fancy, but it has life, meaning, cozy taste to it and I will always choose this. You really won my heart on this. Very sad to leave, but I've got some meaningful answers to take home, and its a big THANKS to the people working at this hotel. Dont forget the bond you have with each other, cherish these connections and this hotel will always stay alive with happiest guests that can have a little of that happiness that you share.
