パリサンドル ホテル & スパ(Palissandre Hotel & Spa)

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a longer trip in Madagascar. I’m a regular visitor to Tana and have stayed in several different hotels in the city over the years, but this was my first visit to the Pallisandre. The hotel itself is very nice - pristinely clean, rooms are lovely and well appointed. Comfortable beds and our rooms had balconies with fantastic views over the city. Staff were friendly and courteous, anticipating our needs and doing all they could to help - going out of their way to find us a driver when ours failed to turn up, for example. The pool is nice, although not truly ‘heated’, as the water is rather tepid. We still enjoyed a refreshing swim! The Hammam is very nice, but you have to book it, and the gym looked good. What let the experience down for us was the restaurant. The terrace is beautiful with a lovely view, and breakfast was actually pretty decent (although eggs weren’t included, which was a shame given the price you pay to stay at this hotel). For lunch and dinner however, the menu is bizarre. Trying to be French, but not really managing it. We had dinner one night and none of us were wholly satisfied with our meal. Vegetarians are especially poorly catered for. And if you just want a snack menu at lunchtime, it’s quite limited and the quality isn’t great - we ordered a burger that had clearly come out of the freezer. The staff were also quite inflexible - for example, telling us we couldn’t have the snack menu when we were the only customers in the restaurant, then saying we could! They were also a bit OTT about getting you to sign for everything - to the point where you felt like they suspected you of wanting to run away without paying! Given Faravohitra doesn’t have tons of good restaurants in the area, the lack of a decent restaurant at this hotel is a bit problematic. Would recommend this is addressed, as the rest of our experience in the hotel was very good! So would recommend staying here if you’re happy to eat elsewhere in the evening, which we did.

I stayed at this hotel for few days during my onward and return journey from Madagascar. The hotel is tiny and is comfortable. The restaurant is quite simple and does not offer great breakfast. I found their breakfast very underwhelming. They charge for an Omlette as well. It has a open terrace where one could sit and have a good view of the city. The rooms are tiny but comfortable. Nothing great to write home about. It definitely felt safe and secure in that property. If youa re looking for safety and security during your stay, this place is for you. Just don't expect five star service or hospitality. Their WI-FI is terribly slow.

I stayed here on two ocassions. Once for two nights and the other time for one night. The hotel is safe and secure. It is tiny with nice facilities. Nothing is extraordinary. For my first stay, the bed was uneven and the springs were bad. The rooms are smaller in size but efficient if one just wants to stay for a night or two. The breakfast is free and is very modest. Almost not up to the mark. An omelette is chargeable. I found that strange.

We stayed here very shortly before heading elsewhere in Madagascar, so cannot assess the location. Welcoming and nice staff, clean room, TV, A/C, WiFi. A balcony with a view over Antananarivo. Hot water and toiletries in the bathroom. An okay buffet breakfast.

The staff was so helpful and nice. We felt safe and taken care of. Very nice and comfortable rooms.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Palissandre Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Zugegeben erscheint es von aussen nicht gleich als tolles Hotel, aber die Werte liegen innen. Tolles Aussicht zum Tal, schöne große Zimmer, phantastisches Essen, ausgesprochen nettes Personal. Nach ein paar Unstimmigkeiten gab es tolle Lösungen, hier ist das Personal eine Extra Meile gegangen. Der Pool bietet Entspannung, Fitness Studio und Spa machen einen guten Eindruck. Excellent hôtel, bon rapport qualité prix, confortable, terrasse avec magnifique vue sur la ville, belle piscine et employés très serviables. Le seul hic est que le restaurant avec piano est très (trop) tranquille

Accueil et service au rendez vous. Emplacement rêvé. Il est rare qu'un établissement réponde autant aux attentes qu'il génère. A retenir pour les séjours ou passages à Tananarive sans la moindre hésitation.

Accueil très chaleureux. Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Palissandre avec sa magnifique terrasse qui surplombe Tanananrive et ses chambres très confortables pourvues également de petites terrasses d'où nous avons pu admirer un superbe couché de soleil
