We booked the Hotel for 3 nights.Hotel was overbooked. In the 3 days we could not actually move into our booked room. We had to move 3 times!! Customer service is non existant and the staff does not care about the customer`s desires. Manager Yiannys refused to talk to customers and acted like a real, i mean real ***** At the end we accepted a free night in the apartment building from Anna s house in town without a pool. The pictures in the internet do not reflect the true appearence of Annas house, which was only 1 out of 4 hotels that they use. Every day people complained and were moved from hotel to hotel with golfcarts. It was impossible to miss all this happening. Never had a worse situation than this in my whole life.

Very clean hotel with a friendly bar open till late. The drinks are very nice and the food is even better. All the staff are well mannered and the cleaners come everyday like clockwork to ensure you have clean bedding and fresh towels. We will be returning👍🏽

The apartment was clean, and modern, and ideal for a couple. A top floor room gives nice views. Breakfast a little expensive so buy in town or buy something to eat on the room balcony. The staff and bar staff were so helpful and friendly. We asked for a change of room for a better view - no problem. The best beach and town a 10 min easy walk away. Good drink and food options behind the beach. Plenty of restaurants in town for all tastes. Veggie ok enough but limited. Rethymnon a 20 min bus ride away for 3 euros. Will certainly think of going back.

Amazing. The rooms and definitely the service. All the staff went above and beyond to help when our flight was cancelled due to air traffic control. Friendly, helpful professional staff. Especially, Evita and Arizanna on reception. Ioannis at the bar. Thank you for making this a fantastic holiday. 10 out of 10.

We defintely recommend a stay in anna's house, in contrary to reviews seen about housekeeping, we were amazed by the cleaning ladies...every day, the whole day they were cleaning the property. A nice, modern property with again hospitality at an enormous high level! Thanks to the staff and especially Yoannis ( best bartender in town) for making our stay unforgettable! We still have one more day to go...at one of the best places on earth!

Anna’s House was lovely and clean. Located about 50 mins from Chania airport. Arrived at Anna’s House late, about 11.30pm after delayed flight and they were very accommodating. Arranged for the bar to remain open and they cooked us a pizza and gave us an ice-cold beer. Anna’s house is split into two sections – one with main reception, pool and pool bar/breakfast restaurant and another section which is a short 100 metre walk down the road. We were ‘upgraded’ to the section down the road which I think had more self-catering apartments. Our upgrade was perfect as we got a 1 bedroom apartment which a kitchenette and two balconies. It meant we could have separate rooms, which as nice. I would say that the main section with pool etc was much nicer and kept up better, neat gardens, clean, pool, bar etc. The grass at the self-catering section was very long and it looked a bit older and not as pristine or maintained. A few cracked glass balcony areas etc Although the grass was long etc, it did get cut on the last day of our holiday which made it look at lot better. It was still nice, but I think the main hotel section was better. Our apartment was spacious and clean with comfy beds. Pool was large and attractive. Enough loungers for us but hotel was quite quiet as not that many guests. The online photos showed a kids splash area but we didn’t see that. As well as a gym but we didn’t look for that either. There were some young children around and there was a little paddling pool attached to the main pool too. Staff were brilliant. All so friendly and helpful. Bar manager was fabulous as was the receptionist. All fab! Breakfast was amazing, delicious choice of pasties, freshly cooked waffles and pancakes, fruit etc and omelette/egg chef too which was a great treat. Drinks and cocktails were served quickly around the pool too, which was great during the day. Anna’s house was about a 10 min walk into town. Walking down to town whilst it was daylight was no problem, there were a few others walking that route too. Coming back after dark was a little unnerving. Although we had no trouble, it felt very remote walking out of town as two women. We didn’t pass any other people walking and some cars would drive past. As I say, we didn’t experience anything bad but we were quite nervous each night knowing we had to ‘do the walk’ and had our wits about us. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it alone or with the kids. Sadly, as Anna’s house isn’t actually that far, it was not worth a taxi driver taking us. Town was nice with some shops and restaurants. We had some lovely meals but really only a handful of lovely pretty tavernas to choose from. If we were there longer than 4 nights we would be stuck for choice. Beach- You can walk from Anna’s but you are the town end which is very busy and quite narrow. We got a taxi from Anna’s (Euro 6) and went further down the beach, which still had beach bars, wide beach and was stunning. Overall, great place!

We had a fantastic stay for 9 days at Anna’s House. Arizanna on reception was polite, friendly and very helpful. All the staff were amazing. Apartment was huge , very clean and well kept. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was a feast and lots of choice. Pool and surrounding gardens very well kept. Location, quiet and peaceful, only the goats bells on the mountains was the sound we heard. Even the cats kept us entertained. Our first time in Crete and the village had many fabulous restaurants. Really good and very cheap. We will return.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We enjoy getting out and the front desk was extremely helpful in lining up a car and providing special places to visit on the island. The facility was very clean and provided a very relaxing environment. It is down from the village (walking distance) which was nice for us not to hear the village wake up.

We stayed seven terrific nights this month at Anna’s House. Everything worked perfectly from the airport pickup to the transfer back to the airport a week later. It’s a relatively compact resort set in a quiet semi-rural area about a 10-to-15 walk to the small town of Georgioupolis, which has its share of several good reasonably priced restaurants. A very nice beach is also nearby. The room was very comfortable. Despite it being peak summer holiday season, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which added to the resort’s overall relaxed atmosphere – even around the often-busy pool area. The breakfasts were also worth the money. But we generally preferred to have lighter breakfast fare on our balcony, which we prepared in the apartment’s small but well-equipped kitchen. Would we stay at Anna’s House again? Yes, hopefully next summer.
