Knipoch House Hotel

The staff were all fantastic and they went about their work with smiles on their faces all day long. Anything we needed it was provided for us and the staff went above and beyond their normal duties to provide a lovely weekend for us both. The hotel was also fantastic. Our room was spacious had a massive really comfortable bed also and the view from our room was superb. The toilet was spacious had a great shower and very clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was very nice also.

Stunning, well run country house hotel in an idyllic location.The suit we booked was clean ,very spacious and comfortable with views of the loch.The staff were all very professional and helpful.

We enjoyed our one-night flying visit, following a trip to Mull. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the ferry terminal in Oban and we arrived at about 7.30pm to a warm welcome from the staff. We just had time for a drink in the garden, which is lovely and then into dinner. The food was very good. There was some confusion with a bottle of wine we had ordered where the wrong one was served, but was sorted out very well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, one lady had only been working there three days and they could have done with a couple more people working the bar/restaurant. A common problem in many hotels. We had a ground floor deluxe room looking over the front garden and the loch. It had one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have experienced (superking size). The room and shower room were newly refurbished and very nice. We would stay here again and happily recommend to others.

Knipoch House Hotel was an absolute joy! This was our first trip to Scotland and the staff made us feel like family! Cozy, warm, inviting and beautiful! We have made life long friendships and will definitely be returning! Thank you for such a lovely time and for helping us make memories we will cherish forever!

Simply amazing! The view, the restaurant, the location, the staff, the rooms, and cozy vibes were all perfect for our family trip. The staff were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our short one night stay. We had two family members that woke up very early for a hike and the hotel staff even packed them a takeaway lunch. We will return and stay here again!

The service was great! Great facility and staff so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back! The food was delicious and staff very personable. Front roomhad cozy fireplaces and room was fit for a king/queen! Breakfast was good as well.

We booked lunch in the restaurant for my mother’s 93rd birthday and our expectations were exceeded. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with welcoming smiles and made to instantly comfortable in the charming lounge area. The staff and manager were particularly attentive to my mother and made her feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and beverages were excellent. We cannot recommend Knipoch Hotel and Restaurant highly enough and extend our sincere thanks to the staff for making it such a memorable occasion.

I spend over 100 nights a year in hotels on business and leisure. Very, very rarely does a hotel create such an unparalleled experience as the Knipoch House Hotel. To list the ways in which this hotel excels would take too many words. But exception must be made in the case of the staff, who were all outstanding. Let us hope this hotel, and the three others in the group, become the benchmark by which other hotels are judged.
