Ok. The staff are nice. Room is good except for the constant droning noise in the ceiling space that made it hard to get to sleep. The room and bathroom were clean but we did have to ask for toilet paper and teaspoons on arrival.The shower pressure is very weak. There is no wifi in rooms and this is something that should really be rectified if this hotel is serious about staying relevant as international travelers often rely on it. We didn't want to spend all our time in the lobby, especially as dogs are permitted on the seating and we got dog hair on our clothes. The breakfast was expensive at £12.50 so gave it a miss.

Reception personnel are not friendly or helpful and WiFi doesn’t work in rooms. The parking lot is so crowded and small it’s hard to fit even a compact car.

We arrived around 5pm our room key couldn’t be found so we had a complimentary drink as we waited. The lounge area we sat in had a carpet which was full of pet hairs and looked dirty . The bedroom itself ,well the photos show what that was like . Toilet had a hair on the seat pan ,not very inviting . The bed although made looked like it had been done with the care of a prison warden having a bad day . We left the key with reception and left . We should have complained directly but just wanted to get out of the place as we now had a long 2.45 hour journey up to our friends in Loch Ness .This overnight stay was supposed to be a break in a long 8 hour journey . So I cannot recommend this hotel . Hotels .com couldn’t get hold of the reception when I complained so I was offered £25 credit voucher on a £84 room we left untouched .

First time in hotel for my boys. Looking forward to evening meal and buffet breakfast. There was a coach party also staying at same time. Restaurant full and only offered their set menu for evening meal. No sign of tables set up for breakfast in the morning. Few staff who seemed busy with coach party. In general coach party we’re given priority. Hard to find staff in the evening to even serve us a drink. We ate elsewhere and didn’t have breakfast. Very disappointing experience.

On arrival, the receptionist was disinterested and dismissive to the point of rudeness. The toilet in the room seemed to still have excrement on the side which we cleaned ourselves rather than engage the staff again. When I needed replacement batteries, I waited for 15 minutes at reception before anybody helped me. The bar had a singer in there with the amplifier set to maximum and was very loud in our room; when I told reception about it and asked how long it would go on for, I was told another 2 hours but no attempt was made to ask them to turn it down. Everything looks dated and tired and our family room was as far as you could get from the entrance and was accessed by many stairs both up and down. The view was the flooded flat roof of the dining room and the curtains on the window were too narrow to completely close; we had to use the bed runner to fill in the gap in the middle.

The hotel was absolutely terrible. I think this place is not the best one for families I would say from my experience. No ventilation at all. We were soaking wet during the nights we stayed. To me it looked like a detention centre the way rooms are built. Hot tub was not available. They did not care to provide fans. I don’t have the opinion of providing less than 1 star for this hotel.

Do not stay here, the pictures on website on not reality!!! The hotel was dirty, from Carpets to the rooms, I stayed for 3 nights and my room or towels not replenished or cleaned! Sevice was awful, staff more concerned with coach trips and not guests. The breakfast is far to expensive for what you get but expected it due to experience of my stay. Never stay here, shocking! such a shame as it is in beautiful part of the world.

Great overnight stay in hotel. Lovely view from window and entertainment on in the hotel. Shops/pubs/restaurants within walking distance
