ザ・ラディカル(The Radical)

Very unique stay and we loved it! The staff was friendly from checkin. Our suite ended up being upgraded to the King of Kings so we couldn't complain about that. We were contacted prior too by Jordan who was very pleasant and made sure we were ok with the change instead of just waiting until the day of. We stopped into Afterglow and our bartender Jordan #2 aka JD knew his stuff and was great. Brendan our waiter at Goldenhour was knowledgeable, attentive and had a great sense of humor. The food was delicious we just wished the "shareable" sides were a bit larger. Drinks were on point and well balanced. Now the room, it was beautiful, the art and other decor made it pop and we slept comfortably. Bathroom you can fit 4-5 in the shower comfortably and loved that the toilet had a door. The only 2 things I can say in a not so good light is the self parking lot should be paved and we felt the size of the bedroom in the suite compared to the opulence of the bed did not work. The bed takes up the space, literally. Other than that everything for us was on point. Would highly recommend and for sure will be visiting again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The heat didn't quite do the job, but a quick text to the front desk and a blanket was at the door within minutes! The restaurant in the hotel was delicious and the cafe was convenient for morning coffee.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were gorgeous. Didn’t have to leave hotel for dinner. Wonderful staff. Our only complaint was the shower didn’t get hot.

The rooms and public areas were very clean and appealing, staff was very friendly and helpful. my King room was small no where to set except the bed, one side of the bed was very limited access, no coffee except coffee cafe $3.50 PLUS for simple drip coffee, (little pricy since most hotels provide coffee), i did ask for a chair because i hate setting in a bed watching TV. Bathrooms were very nice . i usually am on computer most evenings, they did bring me a decent chair. One of my biggest complaints was the valet parking which was right across the street from the front door $100.00 PLUS for (3 nights) for that was a really ridiculous. most of the time it was more convenient to walk across the street to get my car. the valet attendants were great very friendly and helpful. My wife hated the incense in the lobby. Didn't like homeless hanging out in front of the hotel asking for cigarettes. i know this is difficult to control. Probably won't be back.

Was recommended to stay at the new hotel. Heard the Rooftop bar was fantastic...however our arrival on a Thursday evening at 10 pm everything had closed. Hotel has a very ecliptic vibe, very insta worthy. Room decor was unique, shower was amazing! Being thats its less than 3 months old its understandable working out a few kinks. Flashing light in the room and new paint smell was my only complaint. In time that will be resolved. We will definitely come back...arriving earlier for sure for the rooftop views!

From the time we pulled up to the Valet to the time we checked out the service was outstanding. Very unique and memorable hotel. Will definitely be staying here again.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, very attentionate to our needs. We love the decor and the ambiance. We will definitely come back when the weather will be more pleasant and are looking forward to enjoying the roof top!

Very nice property! The decor is to die for. Only downside to my stay; Didn’t sleep very well. Was there for 2 nights. The blinking light on the fire alarm was SO bright and flashed so often & it was very high on the wall. Also, first night heard very loud music until very late and could hear people walking above me. Some sound proofing would do wonders on the ceiling..overall, a nice property not too far from downtown. Would stay again, maybe on a higher floor to avoid some of the noise, the front desk did say they were waiting on replacements for the blinking alarms..I wasn’t the first one to mention it. They did offer a mask but I can’t wear stuff on my face at night.

Overpriced. The main access door to the hall with rooms slams every time someone comes in and out. This woke us up early every morning as guests and hotel workers came in and out. Light switches do not work properly. Bathroom fan didnt work. No basic cable. You are charged extra for the Roku and internet. I travel for work every week, and not once have I been charged to simply use the tv. Lock boxes are not programed yet, so you cant securely store your valuables. Fancy teapots, but no tea was provided for them. The list goes on and on, honestly. Very new place and they're clearly still working through a large punch out list. The price should be lowered until they can offer a better experience. Rooftop bar closes at 9pm so do not plan on a night cap when you get back. Overall, very disappointing stay for what we paid. We will try somewhere else when visiting Asheville again.
