Loved everything about the Inn! We had the top floor and the extra room was great w mini kitchen, our own deck, and many other amenities. The Inn has much history throughout of the area. It's perfectly appointed, immaculate, breakfasts "delish", Shawnie's amazing cookies and refreshments 24/7, and Willy is so versed w areas to explore. It's a must stay!

My wife and I have spent the last 5 years coming back to our home town during our anniversary. We spent the first three years and a couple of nice B&Bs and thought we would just bounce around to a new one every year. Last year we found this one and we will no longer bounce around. This will be our anniversary place for the foreseeable future. Great rooms, great food, great hospitality, great city. Everything you can ask for. My wife and I highly recommend and will be coming back for years.

We stayed 4 nights at the Inn on Monford for our 35th wedding anniversary. Willy & Shawnie are the epitome of hospitable hosts! Beautiful, relaxing home! Extraordinary and delectable breakfasts! Comforting and bright sunroom for sipping coffee, unwinding, and good conversation! Top notch bed and bedding with a fancy high end bathroom! The porch, the porch! Great for reading and hanging out and enjoying sweet country music! Thank you guys for a wonderful stay

Willy and Shawnie run a beautiful welcoming Inn that made our first trip to Asheville everything we hoped for. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The common spaces are well appointed and include a huge porch to relax on after a day of "touristing" in this wonderful city. The breakfast, snacks, wine happy hour and of course Willie and Shawnie themselves make for a wonderful day. Highly recommended.

The Inn had been recommended by our adult children who visit Asheville frequently and always stay here. We are now joining them as unequivocal advocates of 1900 Inn on Montford as the best choice when visiting Asheville. The location is just north of downtown, an easy drive from the interstate, and walkable to the Asheville Visitors Center, the GrayLine hop-on-off trolley, and to downtown itself (about 1 mile). Our room in the main house was roomy and comfortable and the recently updated bathroom was excellent including a spacious and modern walk-in shower. But what really sets this Inn apart is the gracious and charming hospitality of its innkeepers and their staff which is expressed in the quality and quantity of exquisite breakfast feasts and especially in the care, attention and friendly manner that is their hallmark. From the well-stocked beverage cooler and coffee service in the main floor lounge, to the incredible home-made cookies in endless supply, the evening social hour and weekly visit by local musicians, to the excellent recommendations and advice on Asheville attractions, shops and restaurants, Willy and Shawnie made this one of the most enjoyable vacations we have had in a long, long time. Their relaxed, personable hospitality is infectious and we enjoyed chatting with all the other guests we encountered during our stay. We will definitely be back and look forward to making new friends and catching up with our newest friends, Willie and Shawnie.

We rented the Inn on Montford for our wedding. It was the perfect size for our family. Shawnie and Willy took such good care of the entire party and made sure that our every need was met. Renting the entire inn made it so inviting for family members to mingle in the main area of the inn in a casual relaxed way that was perfect for members of both families to get to know each other. It exceeded our expectations. Willy even hosted a trivia competition that everyone enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious. They also arranged for the caterer we used and made excellent recommendations for dinner the first night.

My wife and I travel often and always stay in B&B's. I can easily say that this has moved to the top of our list! From the live music on the porch to the "never ending" wine at happy hour to the gourmet 3 course breakfast it was truly a great 4 day get away for us. Willy genuinely cares about the guests having a great experience not only at the B&B but their daily activities as well. We will be back!

We were welcomed by the Owners, they were fun, helpful and considerate. The location is perfect. Our room with the tub was so much fun. A great place to celebrate sisters birthdays. The other guess were interesting and shared their experiences with us.

The Inn and the Innkeepers were both lovely; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enthusiastically recommend the Inn. Asheville was pretty terrific too.
