Very disappointed +++ I have been woken up at 2:30 during the night. Somebody was trying to brake into my room. I was scared (I’m a woman). The morning I told the boss what happened during the night. The boss had no word of excuse no commercial discount. She just said : « it has never happened before ». It’s just incredible ….Other guests said the same thing happened the night before ….. A real nightmare +++ Look at the door as I discovered it in the morning

Askersund is a tiny, pretty place, near water, with lots of history as well. Garvaregården managed to keep the old charm, the rooms are very lovely, modern toilet and baths, with a very charming outdoor sitting area for breakfast overlooking garden and pond. The B&B is run by a husband and wife team and they are friendly and very hardworking. The location is perfect for reaching all sights in Askersund. A short drive away is Stjärnholm Palace (can be by walkiing, too) where you can also get to buy fresh eggs and other food items to bring home and enjoy. The room we booked was the one inspired by the Musical Prince of Sweden, suite 15, has view of the water, royal-like decors, spacious with seating area, modern bathroom, very comfortable bed, a cozy room. Breakfast is with fresh selection of food, and we were unfortunately there when it was raining so we did not get to sit outside in the garden but it is equally charming inside anyway. Highly recommendable. Thanks to the lovely owners and staff of Garvaregården for a wonderful stay.

Ein wunderbares B&B in Askersund/Schweden-einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Rolf und seine Frau haben uns in ihrem tollen Haus zwei Tage auf das herzlichste verwöhnt. Leckeres Frühstück in einem wunderbaren Frühstücksraum. Im Hotel/Cafe Garvaregarden hat man das Gefühl die Zeit ist ein bischen stehen geblieben - toll. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicher und gerne wieder! An dieser Stelle auch Danke für den TOP-Restauranttip!
