Another wonderful weekend at this property. The room was quirky, comfortable an clean, the hosts couldn’t be more welcoming. The breakfast kids provided, gluten free, were varied and more than generous. Beautiful gardens to explore, and a bonus of fresh eggs to buy! Will be back!

It was a very pleasant stay. Well appointed and comfortable. Everything we needed. I loved all the many eco friendly touches. A lovely breakfast to choose from in our room. The only sadness was that there was no ground coffee

The accommodation is superb, so clean & comfortable . The d.i.y. continental breakfast was very moorish. Fresh bread fruit yoghurts etc was lovely. The owners have really got a gem of a place here. Fresh farm eggs when available & lovely gardens.

What a wonderful stay we had at Home Farm, the owners were lovely and took time to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. The beautiful spacious rooms were very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we wanted for nothing. There was a very good selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, bread and milk for our continental breakfast. The grounds were beautifully kept, manicured lawns, with lovely flower beds. What an absolute gem this place is and I can not recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be visiting again. Despite living close by we like to enjoy the odd night out around Bawtry (few drinks and then onto one of the great restaurants the town has to offer). For years we would stay in the Crown Hotel. And then a friend recommended Home Lodge Farm, just a couple of miles out in the little village of Austerfield. We decided to give it a try and, wow, so glad we did. It is an absolute hidden gem. The rooms are way beyond anything you'd get in anything bar a real luxury hotel. And the little attention to detail (eco washing products, fresh fruit, bread, preserves and cereals, etc) set the place apart. If you visit then make time to potter in the gardens. You'll feel your stress levels fade away. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The owners (Kerry and Richard) are genuine, warm hosts who seem to honestly appreciate your custom. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Booked three of the lodges as we were attending a family wedding at Bawtry Hall and did not want the busyness of a hotel. The lodges were clean, comfortable, well appointed and set in beautiful gardens where we were able to host a pre-wedding gathering. The breakfast packs were amazing with everything we could possible want and Kerry and Richard went out their way to ensure we had a lovely stay. The business has a silver Green (eco) award and the garden a wildlife award making it ideal for those who care for the environment. This is how self-catering should be done.

This is a farm with converted barn buildings providing 6 or 7 different accommodations. We stayed here on our way further North, it being conveniently just off the A1. It was a late booking and we had excellent communications with the owners. It's quite close to the pretty little town of Bawtry, which is where we found somewhere lovely to eat, there were many places to choose from. We were in room 2, which was an upstairs room and consisted of a really cosy bedroom at one end, a kitchenette and sitting room at the other end, with a spacious bathroom with excellent facilities including a walk in shower. The kitchenette was well equipped with a fridge, microwave and toaster, and all sorts of plates and glasses so you could easily have had a take away. Breakfast was included in the form of a continental breakfast - yoghurts, fresh fruit, croissants, cereal and a whole loaf of fresh bread, with butter and jams. Really perfect for people on the move. There was a tv in both the sitting room and the bedroom, the settee was really good and I don't think I've ever slept so well in a strange bed - it was really comfy! The sitting room looked out onto the road outside, but this didn't disturb us at all, nor did the nearby airport. Being a converted barn, the walls of this unit were very thick, meaning it was really cosy and comfortable. There were plenty of windows to keep it cool if a warm night.Room 2 We were met on arrival and had a little wander around the grounds before we left. Really can't recommend this place highly enough and have every intention of returning.

Lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Continental Breakfast selection was great and more than enough. Very laid back and relaxing feel to the lodges and gardens would have loved to sit out in the evening/morning for breakfast but the weather wasn’t too good. Would definitely return if staying in the area again
