Breakfast was great. The new family owned staff is very friendly and the rooms were very clean! My kids enjoyed the pool. It was the perfect staycation. I highly recommend.

The staff was nice but the place could use a little work. It didn't look like the carpet had been vacuumed in a while, both in the halls and my room. Otherwise the room was clean enough. I didn't sleep well though because there is a lot of road noise and my room was pretty cold. When I woke up in the morning, I realized that the AC had been on and set to 63. I had never checked with I brought my stuff in. But since it's February, I had assumed the AC would not be on!

Small hotel but quaint. They are trying to update and remodel things. The breakfast was kind of bare. Beds were really comfy, nice staff, big pool and jacuzzi.

Good ownership. Very friendly. And love that they keep the photo with my grandfather hanging in the lobby. Nice place.

I unexpectedly developed a touch of stomach flu and was not able to drive while throwing up so I didn't make it to the motel at all. 😢

We love this hotel. ALL staff friendly and accommodating. Room’s lovely. Pool warm and hot tub perfect. Excellent complimentary breakfast in am.

I was charged more than twice the advertised amount. It showed 71.00 with my membership and I was billed 148.00. WHY AND ONCE I WAS CHECKED IN IT WAS TO LATE. CARD WAS BILLED AND OF COURSE YOU CAN'T GET AHOLD OF ANYONE BY PHONE. WHEN I DID IT WAS NEW YORK. BEEN A MEMBER MANY YEARS AND IF THIS IS WHAT IT IS NOW MAYBE I SHOULD CANCEL

Series of unfortunate circumstances. Dirty- appearing. One deep clean would probably take care of this. Fix keycard system or be forgiving. Checking in at night two trips to car turned into four and the same happened the following morning at checkout because it was after 11. I requested and was approved for a later checkout. I was recouping from surgery. So it made an impression on me. Little personability or effort to interact with maybe the odd guest? Not my favorite.

I travel extensively for business and stay at a wide range of hotels throughout the US. Many of the hotels are 4 or 5 star hotels. This AmericInn in Austin, MN competes with these hotels in a number of areas: Great Staff; Cleanliness; Free Breakfast with a good variety of options; 24 hour coffee stand; swimming pool. This AmericInn will be my new go to hotel when traveling to Austin, MN.
